Update after a year: Buy a D97 string and arrows that are tuned to you and the bow and you'll be good. It is a very nice $200 dollar bow. Better than a lot of cheap stuff. If your using junkie Amazon cheap Chinese arrows. It will such just like the arrows

This is my very 1st bow and I had zero experience with archery. The setup takes a little work if you are new as far as bow stringing. However, a how to guide makes it very easy. Highly recommend for 1st timers.

It's a nice bow. I was surprised to see Made in the USA advertised here as the bow isn't. I mean for $200 it's not really a reasonable expectation that you can get it manufactured here this cheap, so it seems like an unnecessary promise to make. Maybe it was a mistake. Still, don't get me wrong. It's a nice bow. It did come with a string. I didn't see that noted in the ad.

This is a great bow for the money! There aren’t many reviews on it, but hopefully that will change. I have a RH 45 lb version and it is very smooth and very shootable for long sessions.I would suggest a lighter weight for anyone with shoulder problems. I say this because my wife struggles to get it to her draw length of 24†although she is fit and active.The bow has nice lines and feels good in the hand. The riser is a bit less traditional than other brands, but it is attractive nonetheless.I have shot about 100 arrows through it. I only received it today, and it is a pleasure to shoot. I have mostly shot and hunted with compounds until recently, but I think this bow has been a great introduction to longbows first me. I have made several of my own longbows(red oak with different types of backing), but I wanted a bow to compare my handmade ones to. I shot it side by side with a 40 lb red oak bow this evening and I found that it is indeed heavier-as it should be.Hopefully this is helpful to anyone looking. I’ll not hesitate to try another pse traditional bow. I’ve got a son and daughter who are nearing hunting age, so another one might be in order.I’m still shooting this bow daily(3 months now) and it is holding up great! I have settled on 500 spine carbon arrows for my 26.5†draw length. I’m pulling 41.5 lbs at that length and it shoots very well.

Fantastic bow. Very accurate. Very durable. Only issue was the string was too short. Had to get it strung at a Cabelas.
