It's thin, however it's been awhile since I've used carbon paper. I love that it comes with the tools to trace what I want to cut, I did use it on wood already, and it came out great. It's easy to use.

Believe it or not there is a difference in some carbon paper. I’ve used this brand before and was satisfied with it quality.

I’m really showing my age by my admission that the last time I used carbon paper was for some college writing project where I dutifully slid carbon paper between the three sheets of bond paper when I needed to provide my instructor with 2 copies of my work and 1 for myself. Of course, I kept the third copy (the faintest one) for myself and the teacher got the “good†copies. And I remember pounding extra hard on the keys of my Smith Corona to make the best and darkest “impression†possible.So, now, a lifetime later, I needed to transfer a complicated Xmas pattern to wood for relief carving. At first I tried stenciling but that proved way too time consuming. Then I remembered carbon paper. I went to Michael’s Crafts, Staples, even big box stores but mostly the young clerks had never even heard of carbon paper. So, to Amazon where I found this great product. It arrived quickly as I’ve come to expect from Amazon and the quality is great. There are a ton of sheets, literally a lifetime’s worth. And 5 styluses with 10 points.My pattern transferred to the wood beautifully. I needed to make a second copy and used the same pattern with the same sheet of carbon paper and the second impression was just as dark and clear as the first. So, yes, I highly recommend this incredibly reasonable product if you have a need for a project such as mine.

If you are tired of struggling with your printer (l am) this is an easy and fast alternative. Lay a piece of this carbon paper between two pieces of blank paper, write out your list or letter, and you have a good copy plus the original. You can layer three with two carbons if your handwriting is fairly firm.Primitive, l know, but if the electricity is off or you just don't want to argue with your printer that has a microscopic screen, this might make you happy.

Bought this carbon paper for transfering images for hand embroidery and it works well. Even came with three little tools to trace the image onto the material.
