These syringe filters have proven to be everything they were propounded to be. Hydrophobic, perfect for filtering non-aqueous solvents and/or gases. If wetted first with any of several common alcohols, they will do double duty by successfully filtering aqueous liquids too. In short, one cannot go wrong choosing these syringe-filters by LABLPSAI. They are offered in a variety of pore-sizes depending on one's needs, the filter material is of PTFE, which means it will tolerate hot solutions, even acids, without breaking down. Best of all, they are extremely economical. My lab uses them currently to filter solvents and also as venting filters on several bio-reactors. Applications are virtually endless.

I'm using this LABLPSAI Syringe Filter PTFE 25mm Diameter 0.22μm Pore Size as an inline water filter to dental ultrasonic scalers which works well even if it is not what it's intended for. The only problem, for me, not the product, is that one end doesn't have a luer lock connection and can potentially leak water over time. If that happens I can always rig a workaround. There is no apparent loss of water pressure or volume to the dental equipment so I'm happy.

It was easy and ready to use these filters out of the box. They attached securely to the syringe, and the flow through it was reasonable and efficient. The only draw back was the difficulty of getting the filter out of the box through the groove designed in the box. Otherwise, it was of great quality and useful.

Got these to filter an old bottle of fountain pen ink that had some kind of gunk growing in it. It worked great, the ink still looks good and has no more gunk in it. Hopefully it won't grow back. If it does I guess I have 99 more to filter it again! The filters come in a nice plastic container too instead of a plastic bag. Thank you!

I've built some inoculation jars with these and they are working really well. I don't have an autoclave but I put them in my pressure cooker for 2 hours at a time with now issues.

My previous review was declined due to being more about the packaging, given it is a sterile product the packaging is almost as important as the function, so I will repost here the same review:Can't say how exact the filtration is as yet but they appear to be well packaged and clean.

I use these as gas exchange filters for cultivating mushrooms. I think they are way better than poly-fill or micro pore tape no mess no fuss. I'm really glad they worked so well!

So far these little things seem to be working just fine on most small batch syringe filtering. 100 per pack is a nice touch, you'll burn through them fast if you are doing lots of prep (and I hate to run out in the middle of a cycle!).
