I bought this for my husband to stretch out his shoulder and back. He loves it! The grip is wonderful and it does not slip at all. We put it in the door frame in our closet so it is out of the way.

My husband (who is 6’7) really wanted a pull up bar, but we weren’t sure about the more common kind that goes over the door frame. This pull up bar is surprisingly very strong and feels stable when installed correctly. It kind of “locks†into place after you get the tension right and put a bit of weight on it. it feels so much more stable and is much nicer than I thought it might be! One thing to note is that it took a bit of paint off the walls where it sits, but I’m really not too worried about it.

It quite obvious you can ONLY put you arms as wide as the door doing a pull up, if your short, not a big deal, I'm 6' 2" so I can't go wide, plus I also use mine as a pull down machine for tries , bought a big hook and then used the clamp for the pulley, this this is so versatile and I almost weigh 230lbs and hasn't even shown any signs of movement or stress, GREAT PRODUCT, only MAD cause I waited so long to get it...

The pads are slippery hard plastic and leave black marks on the door frame. Adding dycem (nonslip pad) helps.Even after it’s tight, there’s a lot of movement in the joints. I looked for bolts to tighten but it’s riveted, so I’ll just deal with the wiggling.Also, the bubble level doesn’t work.On the upside, the grip is very nice.
