I ordered the Pulltap corkscrew after Food & Wine magazine rated it as the best overall corkscrew. I've owned single-hinged corkscrews (okay if you get it as a promotional item, but I wouldn't pay for it), lever corkscrews, double-pronged cork pulls (good for old corks), manual screw pulls, and winged corkscrews. The lever corkscrews are relatively easy to use and work quickly, but they are also too large to fit into a drawer or carry in your pocket. And, it is easier to remove a cork from the Pulltap worm versus a lever corkscrew. The Pulltap works as quickly as the other types of corkscrews I have used, although I am still getting used to using a double-hinged corkscrew, so I have not yet found it to be as easy to use as the others, although I suspect that will change. The Pulltap is very sturdy, and I anticipate that it will last through many uses. I did not rate it for durability because I just purchased it. For $7.00, I am sure I will get my money's worth in any event.

Works so much better than all the other cheap corkscrews I've used in the past! Feels very high quality for the price and seems to have an all-metal construction.

There was a lot of conflicting online reviews that the Pulltap corkscrew Amazon was selling was not a genuine Pulltap. I don't know for certain if this is a "genuine" Pulltap or not. There is no indication on the corkscrew that it was made in Spain, which is home of origin for the company. What I do know it this one of the very best (if not the best) corkscrew I have ever used. It is a lean design that it highly functional. It makes opening any bottle of wine a breeze. There is hinged notch that is designed to open bottles, and it makes opening any bottled beer beverage a breeze. Many inexpensive levered corkscrews tend to chip the edges of a wine bottle. This corkscrew does not, nor does it nick the rim of beer bottles. It came in 2 days. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. I will probably order another one soon just to keep one in the glove box for emergencies. Wink-wink.

I prefer using a waiters corkscrew and did some research before settling on this one. Just as the reviews said, everything about this is great (including value!). The only thing not exceptional about it is the foil cutter. It gets the job done, but it’s not as effortless as others I’ve used. Still worth the money though.

Amazon didnt like my first review. Heres another. Everything about this tool is good. The foil cutter is garbage. I have wine keys directly from the company website that performed flawlessly. The foil cutter on my amazon one is straight trash. The key is great, the cutter is trash.

For good or bad, we tend to drink a lot of wine. For decades I have used electric corkscrew devices and the common wing corkscrew devices. I’ve always been impressed with the waiter’s corkscrew but also intimidated by it. Over the years I’ve tried a couple and they always ended in failure. I purchased this one about two years ago and now it is the only thing I use. In fact, I threw out all my others. After opening well over 100 bottles, it still works like new. (This specific purchase was a second one because I lost the first camping.)

This is a good product. It's easy to use, doesn't take up much space, it's all metal and durable. There are a lot of gimmicky wine openers out there, don't waste your time or money, just get one of these and take a minute to learn how it works. You'll be popping bottles in seconds like an expert.

Super easy to use and perfect for pulling corks out without breaking. Upgraded to this and makes a world of difference, even on my old wines where the corks a bit more delicate. Brings them out in one piece.Only thing that I don't like is the blade as it's not the sharpest but easy to fix
