Easy to install & works perfectly, even though my sump pump is the old style with the integrated water-level switch. Just:1. Secure this new switch to the sump pump so the float turns on at the water height you want it to.2. Plug your sump pump plug into the female receptacle on the back of this switch's plug.3. Plug this switch's plug into a grounded outlet.Done!

I bought a new sump pump with a tethered float switch. It didn't work out due to size of sump well. I thought I would have to buy another pump but found this vertical switch to convert my expensive sump pump. Works just as advertised and very easy to install.

Thor product worked right out of the box. I used on a zoeller sump pump which has the float switch stuck on. This was the easier approach rather than removing from pit and replacing switch. One small limitation for me was that I couldn’t install as low as I wanted because of its length. But it wasn’t an issues considering my pit is very deep.

I wish it came with the little water catching pot trays. This message was about the flower pots I bought, and don't know how it ended up here.However The float for my kitchen sink pump, worked just great and was quick to install. I did have to shorten the float rod as was a little too long, but easy to fix.Would buy again if needed ever again. A very good deal.

Updated two Zoeller sump pumps with these new switches as the old original mechanical switches can get janky, so far they work perfect and easy to install. If you have to remove the switch arm or the switch seal leaks, it is easy to seal the hole with JB Weld as it is not used any longer.

Very easy to install basically just a hose clamp to your pipe an plug in. Works perfectly with my red lion 1/2 hp sump.

Purchased this float switch to replace the 12 year old one that wasn't always turning off after the water level had been lowered back down. The PumpSpy Sump Pump Vertical Float Switch seems like a solid unit with a definitive ON/OFF switch operated by the float. This float switch comes with its own band clamp to attach to the discharge pipe, and the cord is plenty long enough that you could dress it along the piping and get it over to the outlet. It's been in operation for a couple of weeks not and no problems with it at all.

The bobber type of float switch for my submersible pump kept getting caught and was hard to adjust. But this one is easy to work with and easy to adjust. No wiring needed it's just plugs in.
