I am a long-time fan of Purdy paint brushes and roller covers. Their products are high quality and a good value. Cheaper roller covers will shed and ruin your paint job. These roller covers do an excellent job on relatively smooth surfaces. They do not leave lint. I always go over every new paint roller a few times with a lint roller before the first time I use it just in case there could be any debris on the roller.I see someone complained about the coverage these rollers provide on a textured surface. If you are painting a textured surface, you'll want to use a roller cover with a longer nap, at least a 1/2" nap and if the texture is deeply creviced, you might want to go up to a roller cover with a 3/4" nap so the roller gets into all the nooks and crannies.

I recently stained my patio, and wanted high quality rollers to do the job, since I added some non-slip stuff to the sealant. And since it goes on clear, I wanted to make sure I wasn't leaving air pockets or globs of stain/Gator Grip to my patio. These do the job very well.

These are good, inexpensive rollers that can hold up well before they start shedding. They are not as long-lasting as some of the more expensive rollers out there, so, if you are painting a lot of space/rooms then you will have to use more than one or maybe even two, but they will definitely hold up well when doing a small room.

Applies color evenly, did not leave any roller pieces on the wall. Low splatter.

Oh what a difference a good roller makes!We undertook a huge home remodel and I am doing most of the painting. We had some of the high ceilings done by the pros, and I noticed they used Purdy products.I bought some cheap-o roller covers which worked fine, but once I tried the Purdy covers, I changed my tune. I wouldn't say painting is a 'joy' and I still hate painting ceilings (and appreciate Michelangelo even more), but using the Purdy roller covers made my job at least 80% more pleasant.They cost more, but my family feels it's worth the expense to make me SO much less crabby after painting.

These rollers were worth every penny nice smooth paint strokes no dripping and easy to clean and then reuse
