These votive candles burn so fast, even in a glass votive holder. The wick is to thick and even with extreme wick trimming the candle is casting off soot and the flame is huge. I've blown it out and trimmed the wick 3 times in a 2 HR period. Not what I wanted, expected so much more with the price I paid

These were very nicely packaged and i like natural beeswax candles, the smell, and how they don’t have the toxins of most other candles. I had been using beeswax tea light candles that are much smaller so thought I would get these hoping they would last much longer but they seemed to melt quicker than I would have liked. Picture shows how one melted inside my tiny candle heater.

Within three or four minutes of lighting one of these Chinese made candles, the wick just burned away! I've never seen that before! I had to use a small knife to carve away enough wax to expose the wick again to try again. When I relit the candle it wouldn't stay lit! So then I got aggressive with removing even more wax and carved "shoulders" on it so the melted wax would run off the candle. Too much work for the price of these! The do smell nice though. Won't be buying these again!
