I was so thrilled to find I can still get this toy! I have had a couple of them for years and they are one of the few toys my older guys will still play with. I recently got a new, young cat and it is his favorite toy as well, but after a couple of months of vigorous daily play, he has partially destroyed the mouse on one of the two I have. I was in a panic because I couldn't find them anywhere and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get a replacement. But yay! Here they are! These are better than other wand toys because they have a section of semi-rigid plastic wire between the rigid handle and the flexible leather cord. That gives them a lot more bounce, and makes it easier to burrow them under blankets or furniture, which makes it so much more interesting. The leather cord doesn't get tangled the way string does, and they hold up well. Even though they are a bit pricey, they last a long time, so they are worth it. My only complaint is that the mice are not replaceable, and they are the the least durable part.

I've had a number of these over the years, this is far and the best had yet.Already gotten my money's worth out of it, and the cats freaking love it. Much more than the string-ribbon type which is the last we'd been using that they like but wasn't same level of fun past ones we'd had with toy end were. Though we've also had bad luck with some toy end types, but this one step up over best previous.Wire end adds a almost fishing rod like characteristic and it works really well for flipping the toy around. genius.Next, the toy end is ideal. Gets stuck in their claws a whole lot less. Past toys I really had some issue getting them disengaged on either because they can't unhook their claws, or they just want to gnaw on it. This one they just want to chase, LOVE to chase, and they let go right away to chase more. That's new and couldn't be happier. Not super important but something to note is check the tassels when get, not all were fully separated when they were cut so were more like loops, breaking them apart further decreased how much cat claws hook. But yea, the size of the fluff part combined with leather tassels is in perfect balance.Cats want me to play with it all day, camping the play area, trying give me hint. Also they kind of hide when they sleep, but wherever they are, takes no time for them to show up if I start flipping it around. Cat hearing is crazy.I would discount the complaints about durability, I don't think that is representative they just get bumped more. Sure in unlucky bad angle hit from a cat could break it, especially way cats go zipping around after it, but I've had it knocked from hand a couple times and no problems, so certainly up to normal standards. Only had it a few days but already put more miles on it than I would have liked due to cat pressure. pushy cats.UPDATE with helpful hint:It's stood up to the test of time well. Cats still love it but I can tell they starting get little burnt out a little on it so I will have to find a different type to give them variety. I want to add some helpful hints to those have with breaking. DON'T HOLD IT TOO TIGHT, if cat hits it hard at off angle it should fly from you hand. I've used these things for years and just instinctively know the right grip tension. Which is pretty loose really. And when they catch it you can tease them with a little tension and wiggling around, but it shouldn't be a tug of war. If you know how to use them they will last a long time. The play end of this is more durable than most I've seen, and hasn't even begun to show wear on mine yet.

This is my cat's favorite toy ever (except for the real thing). She will wait in my office, where I keep this toy, and beg me to play with her with it. Other toys are ok, but no toy has ever excited her as much as this one does. In fact, I was looking for this exact toy because every cat I have ever had has loved this toy more than anything else. Some love it skittering across the floor, some prefer it flitting through the air, and some prefer it sneaking across the carpets to hide behind objects. But all have loved it as long as they were played with in a gentle manner.Although all cats prefer the feathered versions of this toy, feathers are fragile and won't last more than a few hours of play. This is why I always get the versions with the "mouse with a stringy tail". It's every cat's second choice, but it will last until the plastic tubing gets old and brittle in a decade or three.I like the fact that there are no metal parts to this toy that can injure my cats when it is wiggling or flying around, nor when they are wrestling with it. (I've had cat injuries from the similar types of toys with metal parts to clip on and swap pieces.I like the flexibility in both the plastic tubing rod, and in the springy top part of the string. Both add to the fun and play-ability, as well as the variable movement of the toy. In addition, they make it easy to jiggle and wiggle the toy without putting undue pull on fragile cat claws and teeth. As with all toys of this type, cats only like the toy as long as the human doesn't snap it at them, hit them with it, or yank it away from them. All of the above will injure a cat, and the cat won't be willing to actively play with the toy after it's been injured by it. (These toys are built like a wip, and they can certainly hurt as bad as a wip if used incorrectly.)Be gentle with this toy, yet move it aggressively when it can't come into contact with your cat, and they will LOVE this toy, and you, more than you could imagine.

I recently tried out the PURRfect Cat Toys Leather Bouncer, and my cat had a blast with it. The design is engaging, with the leather bouncer providing a lot of stimulation and exercise for my feline friend. It’s great for cats who enjoy interactive play and chasing after toys. However, I did notice that the leather itself seems a bit delicate. After a few intense play sessions, it started to show signs of wear. If your cat is particularly rough on toys, this might not hold up as well as you’d hope. Also, it’s a bit pricey for what it is, given the durability issues.

The leather portions of this wand seem to be of interest to kitties. It's fairly sturdy, too. The plastic is flexible so it boings well. A little pricey, but, I feel worth the added cost. Kitty agrees!

This is brilliant. All 3 cats want to play at the same time and two of them normally avoid each other. They love the bounce of it. I will never buy an ordinary cat wand again. Please carry on selling. I have ordered two more not that i expect them to wear out soon, they are very robust, but because the exercise and fun the cats have is great.

If your indoor feline is bored, restless & needs a major work-out, consider this excellent wand toy. When I bring out the PURRfect bouncer toy in the AM & PM, my cat just goes bonkers & races around the house chasing his prey. After teasing him a few times, he loves to catch it in his mouth & proudly walks away with his "kill". It's sturdy, the fur covered prey, leather string & tassels are well designed & stay intact. One proviso, after playtime, I safely store it away or lively kitty will likely try to destroy it.

Alle 4 lieben diese Angel. Da wird selbst der sanfteste Kater zum Knurren und verschleppt die Beute galoppierend ins nächste Zimmer und verteidigt sie fauchen 😃

Wonderful cat toy, my cat loves this toy and will drag it around the house all day long. Very good build quality; similar toys (other brands) have fallen appart within an hour of being given to the cat. I and my cats recommend this toy.
