It didn’t fit very well but I was able to make it work just had to sand some off the sides of it so it would fit my truck air conditioner

Worked perfectly in my 2000 4runner. A simple tug to remove the old one. Then simply push the new one in. Doesn't get any simpler.

The backlight is inferior to OEM, but it installed easy and functions fine (about 3 months, so far so good ; )Did not need to trim flange as some buyers report.

This part didn't fit my 2000 Tacoma SR5 because it was about 1/16" too wide and tall. Simple fix!!! Sanded about 1/32" (hair) from the top, left, and right of the housing (NOT THE BOTTOM). Don't sand the brim of the housing (the area surrounding the "A/C" button). I also lifted the 5 electric prongs because they were a little too low and would not engage into the harness connector. As far as the quality? It doesn't look like OE. I didn't want to pay the dealer price, and I didn't want a used part, so this worked for me. When it brakes I'll most likely buy it again, depending on how long it lasts initially. Hope this helps!
