These sound good in our basement family room. They are easy to install assuming of course there is clearance in the ceiling cavity. The sound did seem weak before installing them in ceiling. After installing, I’m thrilled!!!

Why two stars? The marketing is misleading to the point of outright dishonesty. The picture literally says "What's in the box" and lists 2x speakers. I'm not sure how to interpret that so this is honest marketing. However the speaker is excellent for the price; engineered and built well. What could make this 5 stars?Change the picture or include 2 speakers.Okay, done with that, here's the review:Initial impressions were a bit scary, the speaker is sold as a 70v unit but the actual box has 100v written all over it. Despite this the speaker performed well using my McGohan MS 506 and the 70v output easily matching a speaker rated at 70v.Packaging is done extremely well, no worries about shipping and the speaker comes with everything you need to install it. This speaker does not require a box as it has little plastic "wings" which will grip the drywall in your ceiling or wall once the hole is cut with the included template.Volume control is awesome, I love having a rotary knob instead of spade connectors or even loose wires. The transformer and wires are neatly tied down to give an very professional experience. All in all, this (one) speaker is pretty amazing. I love the little touches like the mounting system, template, and volume adjustment knob. The sound is clear and bright and the speaker can move some air!

I knew this before I bought it but I figured I should point out the glaring error. While the speaker is rated at 300 watts at 8ohms, when set to 70 volt the tap options are 2.5, 5, 10, 15 and 20 watts. There is an 8 ohm option where the transformer is bypassed, but if you are going to do that, why bother with a 70 volt speaker.
