Small, stylish, and versatile in terms of input/output.I have ceiling speakers installed in most of the rooms of my house. I used to 'drive' them with a Radio Shack 70-v amplifier, which burnt out and is no longer available in this price range. This was the perfect replacement, with just enough wattage for a comfortable level of listening. I have a 'BluTooth' receiver hooked into the Auxiliary input, and I can stream music housewide directly from my iPhone. Big hit during house parties.

I install a lot of 70v systems for small retail stores and normally use which is a great amp, however I ave been using this one where budget is an issue as it is 1/3 of the price of the Crown. While I haven't been disappointed I haven't been overwhelmed either, you don't get a lot of power or options with this amp. What you do get with this amp is a great value if all you are doing is background music. One thing to note all inputs are 1/4 inch, no RCA connections here, Pyle used to include a 3.5mm to 1/4 inch adapter but they no longer do so you'll need to plan ahead for connections. Being a 70v system you will be running mono instead of stereo, with that in mind here are some connection options that will change stereo to mono quarter inch:If your playback device has RCA connecters use something like this: If you need 3.5mm use something like this:

I use this to power several speakers throughout our stores for customer music. Haven been using this one for years with no issues.

Works perfectly for small distributive sound system (ceiling speakers) for putting sound in remote locations in a church, school, or meeting facility. Can operate as a stand-alone mixer/amp with its two mic channel imputs or as an auxillary amp to feed your distributive system off of your main mixing console via its auxillary input. Plenty powerful to supply 6-8 full range transformer-matched ceiling speakers tapped at 5 watts on an 8 ohm load. The price is right and the unit performs very well.

It worked great for a few months then it stopped working and produced intermittent sound.Had to replace the box with the same item. Hopefully this one lasts.

The 20 year old Radio Shack PA amp in our retail store shorted out, started smoking and left a wonderful burnt electronics smell in our offices for about 24 hours. So nice! It's amazing that thing lasted as long as it did but the day had finally come for us to replace it. We weren't looking for something incredibly powerful or with hi-fidelity. We just needed something to power four 8-ohm Radio Shack PA horns we've had forever. This 40W Pyle amp worked out perfectly. Installation was quick and easy and performance is much better than our old PA amp. The unit is compact (less than half the size of our old PA amp) and much more powerful. Noone can claim they "didn't hear the page" anymore :) There's aren't a lot of bells and whistles to this PA amp but that's precisely what we wanted. It's a great product at a great price. Hook it up and walk away. Done! Thanks Pyle

This really is a nice little amplifier. I'm using it with an additional center channel speaker above my electric screen, while my Yamaha RX-A6A runs the regular center channel speaker below the 150" screen, plus the other Dolby Atmos speakers. It's a crying shame you have to do this to get extra clarity in the dialogue, since the other speakers are reserved for music and sound effects in the movie soundtrack.
