I’ve installed a few of these on golf carts and does the job! Connects to Bluetooth instantly.Only things that can be improved;- Can only be turned on by pressing power. (Can’t resume on, if left on)- start up and shut off sound is LOUD.

EDITED 06/17 ... After having installed a few dozen of these on customers Golf Carts over time, we have experienced a near-100% failure rate, with the life-span ranging from about 18 months (best) to 2-3 weeks - it would seem that the newer the units, the faster they fail, so I am amending what was once a good review to more of a "Not worth taking the chance" warning. Now, for what it's worth, we build some pretty serious "Off-Road" Carts, so the units are subjected to a lot of shocks and jarring, so perhaps in a less-agressive install they may have a better survival rate, but many of the carts we build see nothing but "Campground Cruising" and we are still having failures, so I feel pretty good by warning people off of this product.Great little Amp, definitely marketed as higher wattage than it really puts out - more like actual 50wrms output but enough to drive an 8" coaxial set of wakeboard speakers on the Golf Cart loudly and clearly without distortion. Bluetooth module performs flawlessly, although keep in mind it requires a 3" hole to mount and will need 3.75" room behind the hole (it's not "flush mount" as in can be mounted anywhere). When mounting nut is removed, press-fits perfectly in a golf carts drink holder - makes for a slick install with the amp itself mounted behind the dash. I have already ordered a second for installation in another one of my carts, definitely a product I would use again at the price. NOTE: On the unit I received, the gain was set at absolute zero from the factory, no problem to adjust but make sure You don't think the unit is faulty when You turn it on, check the gain setting first before returning unit) !!!

Easy install. Installed yesterday so far so good. I mounted it on a 2017 Honda rancher 420. It’s pushing 2 Rockville wakeboard speakers and sounds great. I have an aftermarket exhaust that screams and can hear the music clearly at 35 mph. For the money it’s not a bad buy. Gonna test the waterproofing capabilities next weekend hope she holds up. I’ll let y’all know with updates as time goes on

I hold an Amateur Extra radiotelephone license, the highest available from the FCC. My area of interest is mobile communications and I’m quite experienced with mobile electronics installation. The installation of this stereo amp is straight forward. The unit worked as advertised after installation. Unfortunately, after the vehicle (UTV) was started, the unit no longer operated. The failure was in the remote control. A second amp was purchased with the same result. The first install was to a switched power supply point and the second straight to the battery. A 7.5 amp mini fuse was substituted for the provided 10 amp and neither was blown. Battery and alternator voltages was normal at all times.A comparable amp was purchased from a different company which worked perfectly using the very same power connections.Communications with Pyke customer support was pathetic. They clearly had no interest in working the problem and replied with comments inappropriate to my statements and questions. Mostly they just ignored my questions. Clearly their command of the English language is minimal at best. I finally just gave up with them. This product is defective and Pyle could not care less.

Buy for small cooler radio! Sounds great, small, light, and rocks! I don't even have the gain turned up all the way and it's rocking! Testing battery life as I text. This little amp is all you would need for an ATV or cooler radio. Stop looking and ship Amazon prime! I'm very happy with how my little project turned out! Get that wow factor with a 14 quart igloo cooler and make yourself a jam box that sounds great. Gonna really impress some people with this bad dog!

For $63 it seems like a good deal, BUT after 2 months it stopped working. According to Pyle, I can send to them AT MY COST, and they will either repair or replace under warranty. Considering the sound quality is hollow, and the volume control all the way up isn’t all that loud, should I really spend $36 ($18 each way) more to send and have it returned?

First amplifier was DOA, replaced by Amazon. Second unit turned on and some very poor design choices were immediately clear. Unit doesn't work in aux mode without being connected to the comically oversized button panel/BT interface. Unit doesn't automatically turn on and has to be manually turned on. It makes extremely loud interface sounds that can't be turned off. It always defaults to BT rather than last used mode. It's only slightly louder/better than Pyle's 400w 2ch amplifier and not worth the trouble.Within ten minutes, the amplifier would start randomly powering off and need to be powered back on manually and switched to aux mode every time.avoid.

Firstly, I should note that the product I received is obviously an updated version. The older version (shown in the picture on the listing) had cables coming out of four separate locations - this one has them all coming out of one spot. This is a good move as it reduces potential access for water. Another change is rather than RCA cables, it has a lead with a 3.5mm headphone socket coming out of the controller (so if you want to hook up something that has RCA cables you'll need to get an adapter). I also read that you could manually adjust that gain via a screw under a sticker on the side - this also appears to have gone. Possibly this may be still be there if you open the case but I didn't need to.So, about the amp itself. My plan was to use it with some speakers in the back garden. I used a 12V, 5A supply (bought separately) to power it. Operationally, it works. You need to connect the control panel up to use it. To turn it on, you press the play button. To pair it via bluetooth, you need to press and hold the play button. Once paired, my phone automatically found the amp as soon as it was turned on. As previously noted, there is only the one spot where a bundle of cables come out of the box so it should be pretty resistant to water ingress, but even so I'd suggest if possible putting it in a location where it is protected from direct sunlight (so the rubber o-ring doesn't perish), and where it won't sit in standing water or be subjected to water splashing that could get past the protection.Performance - well, it works. I hooked it up to a pair of Polk Atrium 6 outdoor speakers. It is not an audiophile HiFi amp. There is background hiss (why I didn't bother looking for a gain control - it would most likely increase the hiss), and it only just provides enough volume to annoy the neighbours. It does not come close to matching what I can get out of a quality amp *but* it is waterproof. I can run low voltage cable from the power supply to the amp in the garden or pool, and control it from out there. If I put my HiFi amp outside I might enjoy better sound for a while, but then water would get into the amp, sparks would escape, house burn down... so I'm happy to accept a few compromises. Overall I'm happy with what I've got for the price I've paid.
