First of all i hooked this up to my factory deck, after an audiocontrol lcq-1. (Line converter, line driver, eq) so my amp is getting at least 5v rms of clean signal. The gains are set to about 20% on f/r channels. Sub gain set to about 85% but i have a knob wired to center console for bass control. This thing powers well my stock speakers, but subs are 2 12" pioneer (not best, but got them for free) and it sounds better than expected, clean and deep and moves them w no problem. Im very happy powering my full system with one amp, first time running like this. Did i mention its in a car not boat (marine ready amp lol) i picked this after hours and hours of research. It was the best value compared to similiar brand amps, plus cheaper than the automobile version. But my main reason for picking it was the color. Im a fan of white, so it matches car exterior. Nice and clean. Pick one up. Has more than enough power. 500 rated rms watts for bass. Perfect. Havent played it long enough to see overheating issues. But since its under my seat i can turn on a/c to floor and should never have that problem.

Way more powerful than I expected. Sure you can spend 4x the dollars and get something that will blow this out of the water but If you need to run a lot of speakers and a sub this will do the trick. I had eight 6.5" kicker (OEM) speakers and a 10" kicker tube subwoofer. I ran 2 speakers per channel and this thing blew them all with in one season. So I upgraded the speakers to some WetSound 6.5" that could handle twice the power and couldn't be happier. No more worries about smoking the speakers and plenty loud enough. I have people on shore jamming out when I trolling about 50 yards off the shoreline.

Installed very easily and sounded great for the first month, now it just blinks on and off with the sound coming in and out. The return window expired 7 days ago, so I will try to contact Soundstream. Very disappointed, I was loving the sound this little smp produced until it stopped performing.

I install stereo systems in boats. Love this amp. I run two of them in my boat, and have put them in over a dozen customers boats. Crisp clean sound. Easy install and setup. Plenty of power to run eight 6.5" marine speakers and two 10' marine subs without even turning the gains all the way up. For the money, you can't go wrong.

We were originally shipped the wrong item. I contacted the seller directly and they immediately shipped the correct item the next day and I had it 36 hours later. Excellent service. Accidents happen, the resolution was superb.

GREAT amp!! I used to love Soundstream products way back in the day and was afraid this was going to be a cheap Chinese product with the Soundstream name, but it really is nice (no matter where it's made) I ran 4ga wire to it straight from the battery. Despite it's size, I have it mounted completely hidden under the dash of my 1998 Jeep Wrangler. It runs 4- 5.25 Rockford Fosgate mids, a pair of RF tweeters and an old MTX 20" sub with power to spare. I'm considering buying another to use in my Miata

Soundstream is not what it used to be, low quality made overseas junk, 4 channels are ok, just barely makes more power than the head unit and the 5th channel is under powered for a good quality subwoofer

running 4 boat component speakers and a 10" marine sub, lots of power, no fuss no muss. draws less power than my 6 channel ab class, hits just as hard. Great deal for this.
