I saw a review that mentioned the unit didn't have AM radio. That must be a newer version than the one I have, but I bought this unit in 2017. Since day one it's been mounted outside in the elements. It's under a patio roof, but still...the humidity, blowing rain, occasional tornado/storm, etc.... this little thing is STILL running just fine. Hornets have made nests inside the mic jacks... doesn't stop it. I run this thing on bluetooth for patio speakers and it's been banging out great tunes for six years now. If it blows up tomorrow I won't have a single complaint with it.I was actually just talking about it last night and that reminded me that I owed it to them to come update my review - only to find I'd never written one. It's NOT a superpowerful unit. No. But it will boom out across my 1-acre yard with absolutely no problem at all. It's provided many great parties, afternoons with dinner music, and never let me down once.If I had ONE complaint with the unit it would be that it powers back on to Tuner, not where you leave it. I have mine set on bluetooth al the time so if we lose power I have to stand on a chair and press input 4 times to get it to go back where I need it, but honestly most people don't have it 10 feet in the air so it's not an issue for them.

I replace my AV receiver for a sound bar that I love. The one thing I was missing with the sound-bar is AM/FM radio. I love AM radio during Football season. I did not want to spend a lot money. I also wanted a device that had a small foot print unlike my old big AV receiver. After a lot of searching on the internet and not finding a lot of devices that met my requirements (specifically AM radio), I found this device. Setup was easy, sound is great and Bluetooth works awesome. My only complaints, is that the instructions are not written very well and they had grammatical errors in documentation. Also when the device is shutting down it says "Good Bay" instead of "Good Bye". These two problems don't impact how the device sounds and works and that is why I am still giving it a 5 star.

I bought this for use in my pool house with outdoor mounted speakers around the pool. It was cheap enough that I wouldn't worry about moisture damage from being outdoors all the time. It has quite a few features for a cheaper model. The built-in blue tooth is why I made this purchase over other models. The BT picks up my iphone from about 40 ft away and using the Dual speakers (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00081NX5U/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_20) it sounds pretty good. It comes with a remote control, but it only works line of sight which is a pain with the way I have it connected. I wish it had a usb port for charging a phone, but that's easy enough to remedy. Overall, i'm happy with this purchase for the price.

this thing is terrible. I figured for 80 bucks it would at least be decent...or even usable. build quality is cheap, buttons feel fragile. electronics in it I would be happy to pay $20...maybe. didn't happen to me but apparently they get super hot according to other reviews.first complaint...the bluetooth connectivity on this thing is abysmal. it took 5-6 times to get paired to my phone, which then played garbled audio. after a couple of more times it will pair and play - (btw, I have a Galaxy s6.) computer paired after a couple of tries of garbled audio.second. it doesn't have a memory circuit, so it goes to default setting when you turn it on - and it also auto sets the volume to 25db which is almost 50% volume. it forgets any DSP or bass/treble settings. sound quality is lacking, ranging on only acceptable.third. power output is nowhere near 200w. I expect maybe 60w out of this thing? barely able to power a pair of standard desk speakers without clipping.synopsis: oh, it's a pile all right.

What you need to know...I use this to drive two B&W 3.7 Ohm Speakers. I run them loud to hear over my 350 ft back yard for yard work and entertaining. They drive these speakers very nice. Note THD is around 10% (.01) - so anything above half volume starts to degrade. Radio scanned stations prior to placing antenna. Now stations are missing and unsure how to force a RESCAN of FM stations. Bluetooth is LIMITED to ONLY an MP3 Devices. For instance when my iMac connects it will only allow iTunes not my browser (TV) or another MP3 APP. I tried SD Card using a MediaAdapter Card to MicroSD (skips read errors, bad files etc) Found the USB Drive more Dependable. I use Multiple USB 16GB Flash Drives (see image - i like small cause i have cats, they screw with anything that sticks out) for each Music Genre (Old Rock, New Rock, New Age etc) One big drive is just too many files to navigate. My MP3 Library is just under 1 TB. One Button (POWER) and I have MUSIC!!! Using the USBs it plays for days without repeats!!! LOVE IT! with some quirks. I also make use of the RCA inputs & the 3.5 AUX IN (A must in my book) Use for MP3 players and computer sound porting since Bluetooth does not support speaker output - just music input.

I installed this reciever just inside my house to power some outdoor speakers in a nearby patio area. While the remote control will only work in a line of sight, the bluetooth connectivity is superb! My phone stays connected without music breaking up about 40 feet away from the house, even through an exterior wall. Everything works as advertised, except that there is only an FM tuner and no AM functionality. I was disappointed as the ad said that both were supported, as did the box that it came in. Regardless, I am still very happy with it.
