I have researched and even tried a few RFID timeclock systems and they are all horrible. If you are a small or medium sized business that needs something simple, and that can be structured to a less formal and rigid employee shcedule then this is it.The the scanner works incredibly well and basically finds itself and sets itself up.... even when using an ethernet to wifi converter to remote mount it. The software has a few strange quirks but the guide is very helpful. I had it up and running in an hour or so. Been using it for 2 weeks and the device and free software work incredible. Thanks for finally making an RFID system that can actually be structured around any business and any schedules.

I replaced my mechanical clock with this one. Although the software is not intuitive, once I learned and made a mistake or two, I found it easy to use. No more worrying about getting time cards out on Friday or adding up the hours. The customer service was really kind and helpful. They offered a remote training session but I learned fast enough and emailed them once with an issue which was explained quickly. You will need a hard wired network line and you will have to remember to disable your antivirus when you use the software.

I thought I can use the key pad to punch in however I have not been able to figure that out yet. Overall the system works well and easy to use otherwise

My review is based solely on the interactions I had with "support", who consists of 1 older lady. I asked to speak with someone else who may have another idea of why it wouldn't install on W11, was told no. If you have Windows 11 - BEWARE!

We've had this a few months now and I can tell you that I really like not having to make new paper time cards every week!!We assign a card to an employee, set them up in our system and we're done. My new Accounting program imports the weekly time and I can easily adjust the time. This time clock does comes with a program called Timetrax. You have to install it on your local network and that is where you'll set up your employees. It's a good program but getting the time rounding, shifts, and meals is a little tricky. For us it's been time and money well worth spent!

This time clock works great... I purchased this clock from Pyramid because it is called “proximity” clock and my employees don’t have to touch it when punching in - I felt it was a good option given the current situation. I also called the manufacturer because I saw some bad reviews, and they explained how the software is now a download and how the unit was revamped in 2019. The set up was easy, my employees like it, so, so far so good. The added kicker is that it is made in the USA.

You get what you pay for! After using ADP - eTime clock (originally developed by KRONOS) for decades (really!) I find it similar in concept and use. As with other systems the developers hold back some things and request additional $.The company this is being used with only has 15 employees that are paid bi-weekly that we need to track time on; only issue I have run into is not much documentation on "exceptions" to normal shifts. But for 1/2 the annual cost of Service Companies we can make it work.Employees seem to like it in that it looks similar to old ADP (Kronos) clock and that's all they really see.Support response (M-F 8-5 someplace in the EAST) has been ok and friendly.

This time clock is OK when it works. The company has decent technical support for the software but almost none for the hardware. For the price and "technology" of the clock, I expected the software to be on par with the hardware. This was not the case. The software is cumbersome and outdated and offers only limited configuration options for the work schedule, employees, pay schedules etc. Tech support is limited to 90 days, though they will help you after that expires most of the time. Hardware support is 12 months. This clock was purchased in April 2014 and began exhibiting problems in April of 2015. A support call in May of 2015 failed to resolve any of the hardware problems, but the company offered to sell me a replacement clock for around 90% of the posted Amazon price, since I had failed to notify them of the problem within the 12 month warranty period. I had hoped since the problem began during the warranty, and that I was JUST out of their period, that customer service would be able to provide a no/low cost replacement. CS Rep said it was normal for electronics to go out after 12 months! Looking for another brand to last longer, previous swipe time clock lasted 10+ years until I DECIDED to replace it to get newer software and a LAN timeclock. They don't make em like they used to.

Works great! Probably saved us thousands of dollars compared to hand written time sheets.

Wow. What a waste of over $400. This does less than the $150 timeclock we had, other than utilize a Prox card. It is not customizable for scheduling hours in any way as the product info states. If an employee is called in for OT, this should be able to tell the difference based on Start/Stop time settings and calculate the OT - it does not. The only way to earn OT is to work either over 40 hours or over 8. Everything else else is accounted for as regular hours. This requires a lot of manual research of arrival times and editing in the software to remove the hours accounted for as regular rather than over time, and then adding over time hours. Our payroll dept. was more efficient when we used mobile form submissions, and our $150 time clock.

Did not Work well. Hard to use, system was cumbersome and could only be saved on one system, and if that computer breaks you loose all the past data... we ended up buying a whole different system
