I bought this specifically for baking sourdough bread. The bowl is the perfect height and shape for this. Glass is thick. Small rim makes it easy to hold.

I had originally purchased a set of Pyrex glass bowls for food prep, and the size pictured. I broke one of the great things about Amazon is that you can just purchase one item so I didn't want another sad just this one size to complete my set. This bowl is freezer safe fridge safe microwave safe, wouldn't use on the stove top but for prepping meats, making salads or measuring/sifting whenbaking Pyrexx is well made, great ergonomics the curve of the bowl, excellent highly recommend and I thought this was a fair price to just get one to replace my broken bowl.

I purchased this item to replace the one I had that was broken. In the same order, I had four cans of a food product and other items. This bowl was packaged with only one thin, small sheet of bubble wrap in a huge box with all of the other things that I purchased on that day, including the cans of food. I DID NOT select to have the items packaged together. When I picked up the box, I could hear the cans hitting the bowl. I opened the box, and everything was thrown around inside of the box. I am surprised the bowl didn’t come broken! I thought the bowl would come in its own package and securely wrapped to prevent breakage, even if inside a larger box. Surprisingly, I had no option to rate my delivery experience or packaging experience as I usually receive. So, I’m leaving it here. This item says it was shipped by Amazon.The bowl is just what I ordered. It doesn’t come with a lid, but I purchased a lid separately from the Pyrex store. The additional lid will give it more versatility. The size is correct.

I needed to replace my bowls in the kitchen so after looking for quite some time I choose this bowl and the other two sizes that match. I use them every single day. Just love them. They aren't too heavy or light. Just right. They stack beautifully. I purchased a second set and they fit inside each other very well. Great product.

This Pyrex Mixing Bowl is perfect! I use it all the time for many different things like salad or as a container for a bag of popcorn and for mixing up hamburgers, meatballs etc.I'm happy to have it and Pyrex is the best!
