This is a very nice gate, easily to assemble even with two of the short extension pieces. My only problems are ones that are very specific to my house, I can’t attach the bottom to the wall due to the baseboard radiator and the anchor being to large to fit underneath, this also caused the top to be about a half inch to an inch away from the wall but it was simple to cut a piece of wood to fill the gap. Also I would recommend that you have the gate on an even surface, due to how the gate lines up with the carpet and the tile it moves slightly, probably fixable with some shims and not being mounted on the bottom. Overall I’m very happy with this gate and it looks really nice. And even though I wasn’t able to mount the bottom brackets it is a very sturdy gate and I’m not too concerned about that. Would highly recommend!

In anticipation of a new grand-daughter I ordered a gate for our wide stairs. Apparently babies do not crawl immediately. So the fence and gate sat in my garage for five months in it's original packaging which showed no sign of damage or abuse. When I opened the package, one hinge was broken, but the piece that broke off was not there. I contacted Qdos and explained the situation in an email. I received an email right away asking for pictures to show that everything else was in perfect condition. I sent that to them and a complete, free, new replacement gate was on it's way that night. Customer service does not get better than that. The gate is built very well and looks great. I have no reservation about recommending this product and company.

Great quality, color is awesome, simple to assemble/use. Used between large dining room opening and entry way. Regular gates just would not fit - not big enough. Glow in the dark strip at bottom of door is a nice touch.

The product has worked well for our wood stove. Only complaint is the top square pieces do warm up a bit. The actual fence stays cool even after 12 hour burns.

I ordered 2 sets of these gates originally and had to return them a 2 times each due to extensive scratching / chips on paint. I finally got one that looked ‘ok’ and the last replacement I received was still chipped unfortunately. I don’t know what else to do, as I needed them setup for my baby since they are crawling. Just annoying - I contacted Qdos and they said that is not normal so I might follow up with them to see what next steps are but honestly the gates shouldn’t be arriving all beaten up from Amazon in the first place.
