Nice complement to our white china with a clean modern shape. These hold a good amount, perfect for stationing one at each end of the table. Like the saucer and the accompanying spoons too.

I have been neglecting to replace our previous gravy boat for over 3yrs now. A gravy boat that I never missed... Until the task of Holiday hosting came round again, and I'm ladling gravy into my 2cup measuring glass... I'm so happy that I stumbled upon this great looking boat before the hollidays scrambled my brain, and I forgot again. Plus, this one has a really cute ceramic spoon. I don't think the spoon will last long with my crowd, but I really do like it. The saucer and the boat itself are really what I was looking for. They are a very glossy white and look more expensive than the $18.99 price point. This set also came packaged so securely in foam, I was SURE it would be in perfect condition, even the cute spoon. Plus, the pour spout seems to function correctly, something I tested with water almost immediately. The biggest issue I had with our old gravy boat (may it R.I.P.) was it had pour issues, plus an attached saucer!?! That awful design was a mess, but atleast it was a boat; unlike the gravy shipwreck of the last 3yrs. My only draw back with this set is some (I'm assuming) pre-glazing defect on the saucer. The issue is only present on one spot but seems to be all the way through. Potentially a mended crack before glazing? It is barely noticeable; and if it is solely cosmetic, I'm a happy camper. But, it could be something that speaks to the overall quality of the product? Only time will tell. So for now I docked one star. I figure, at this price point, for an item I only use a few times a year; I will take my chances with the defect. The Boat pours and looks great and doesn't have an attached saucer, so I'm already excited to use it. I will definitely update my post if this set (not including the spoon) doesn't hold up, or if it does.
