These rocker switches are a perfect replacement for my Chard DE-10 dehydrator. I accidentally broke the original on/off switch and found these are the right configuration and dimensions to use as a replacement. And the cost of buying 2 was just slightly more than buying one so now I have a backup if I break it again.

I had an old car charger that used this same switch, it gave out and i swapped it with this one and it turned back on. Overall basic switch and does what it’s supposed to do

I accidently turned on the compressor without bleeding the fill line and the water pump switch burned out. This was the perfect replacement for my machine Air Venturi 4500.

I replaced the original switch from a power strip on a rack sound system (15-50 years old, who knows). The original had finally welded closed. I installed the new one, tested the operation and discarded the old one (which I had freed up through a small hole in the side of the switch housing. Since I was unable to open the housing, i could not file the contact points, even though it worked while I waited for the replacement to arrive, once the new one proved operational, I tossed the old one). Within 24 hours (less than 12 cycles) the replacement welded shut and would no longer turn off the power.... and no hole through which to attempt to pop the contacts apart. Disappointed, I grabbed the second switch (which I had since two of these were as inexpensive as any other Amazon offering [including a set of five, but I only needed one, so five would be crazy, right?]) and swapped it out (a process at which I am becoming quite proficient) only to discover it failed to make contact at all when switch to the "on" position. I tested the amp draw: inrush of 4.7 amps, steady draw of 0.7 amps. The rating says 20 amps @ 125v.These are going back, and I will try a different brand, a slightly different price point, and maybe a different quantity.... five doesn't sound so crazy after all.
