I purchased these tips to replace the original tip that came with my Weller soldering station. The original tip had become pitted and was not getting hot anymore. I purchased these tips and they were a huge improvement in heating and soldering. The tip is the perfect size for all the work I do on RC cars and electric skateboards. I have used the first of the three tips heavily over the past month and it hasn't shown any sign of discoloration or pitting. I would highly recommend these soldering tips as a replacement for any Weller soldering iron that you own.

They work fine but are just slightly smaller than the Weller's OEM tips. I have to tighten the set screw with every soldering session and did not need to do that with the original tip.

These clean off better than solder tips I've used in the past. They're really easy to switch out, even when the iron is hot - just use pliers

These will work great for simple repairs. I did notice they they do not retain heat as well as the name brand tips, but this was only an issue when I was soldering 20+ connections in one sitting.
