UPDATED COMMENT: Before I could order a replacement, the company reached out and offered to send me a replacement at no cost. Who doesn't love great customer service? I received the package 2 days later and put it on pur bed immediately. Clearly must have been a flook with the first one. All the features I listed below still hold true and this one definitely seems to cover a bit more heat towards the edges. Had i received this one originally, I would've given it the 5 stars I've updated to today. I would give extra for customer service. Thank you very much for making it right!ORIGINAL COMMENT: After putting this queen size mattress warmer on the bed, I requested an exchange. It fits great, stays in place, has a pocket for the cord into the cover at the bottom, cords are plenty long enough, heats very quickly, controls work well and easy to select, can not really feel the coils unless you are really trying to. Reason for exchanging it: on the one side, the coils do not heat up closest to the edge. You can feel it's just the last few rows but it's enough to have to shift towards the center of the bed a bit. It's only one side so I'm thinking maybe a disconnection or pinch of the coil somewhere in that location. Otherwise, it works well so I'm exchanging it for a replacement. I will adjust my rating, hopefully to a 5 once I try the new one.

We live in an older home so our room is always a little chilly. Having this electric blanket has just made it so much nicer when getting into bed. It’s nice because it has a timer so you can set a timer for a few hours and when you fall asleep, you’ll be nice and toasty.

Wow.....much better than an electric blanket! The heat is so even and cozy. We only have ours turned up to 1 because it gets too warm any higher for us. This has been an especially cold winter here in NW Ohio but we keep warm and toasty with this fabulous mattress pad. We love the control on it too....it goes dark except when you want to adjust the temp. or heating time...then it's nice and bright so you can see it in the dark. I will never by another heat blanket! It fits so nicely on our king sized thick foam mattress and stays put when we adjust the head and feet on the bed. Worth every penny!

Pros:- Heats up very very quickly.- The lowest temperature setting is incredibly warm.- Material is soft- Even though the material is thin, you can hardly notice the wires.- Controls are easy to use.- Very granular timer- Good fit on a deep mattressCons:- The lowest temperature setting is almost too warm.- Requires two wall outlets and there are two plugs on both sides of the pad. Opposed to one central plug.- The foot of mattress does not appear to warm up. Very warm where your body is, but I can't feel any hear near my feet. I don't think the heat coils go all way to edge of the heat pad.I had a Sunbeam heated mattress pad for a long time. As it got older you'd have to crank the temperature up higher and higher. At it's last, I had it cranked to it's highest and it was just warm at best. This mattress pad, however, is very very warm on the lowest setting. I could not imagine turning it up. I kind of wish it has a lower warmth setting. But that is a minor gripe. Outside of that, I love the purchase.

This is a great full size mattress heater. It was easy to put on top of the existing mattress, then covered it with a mattress protector, then the typical bed sheets. It is nice having the option to control each side separately with the heat level and also the timer. The package says that it is washable, but don't plan to do that unless it gets stained. Be sure to get in the habit of turning on the heater before going to bed, it feels so good getting into a warm bed.

This heated mattress pad was purchased for my partner who is always extremely cold due to medications. Mr. No Emotion LOVES it! Everytime one moves around there is a warm spot. I did turn it around so the control and plugs are at the head of the bed vs foot. I was concerned he might somehow get tangled up in cords during the night while trying to get up. This way they are totally out of the way. The controller sits on the nightstand. I hooked up only his side. What the selling factor was for this product is the control lights up. Many do not. Important at night. I like the range of heat settings and the 12 hr timer. I can't say if it gets too hot or not. He sets it on 6-7. Each person sleeps different and has different needs. The pad itself is comfortable without the feel of wires. It has been a great purchase for our needs.

Oh, I do so love heated mattress pads. Once I discovered them I haven’t gone without. After my prior pad started to have problems after several years of use, I found this pad. The ratings and reviews were good so I went for it.The pad appears to be well made, and can be machine washed, although I would avoid washing it. No matter how well made, those heating wires will end up being affected by washing. Use a cover instead. It’s been heating well, and I normally feel quite warm at level 4 out of 10. The timer works well, but the shortest setting is 1 hour. I find that is long enough to relax me into sleep. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and I feel like I got value for money.

The Reaks heated mattress pad is well designed and comfortable. The cords for the two sides attach at the corners at the head of the bed - they are out of the way and there are no long cords running from the foot of the bed to the head of the bed. I cannot feel the wires, as some reviewers have said. I use it on an adjustable bed with no problem. I don't know how hot it gets, because for me the gentle warmth of the lowest setting works perfectly.

There is ample padding so the wires and connection points are not bothersome.Cover fits well and is comfortable to sleep on. Heats up quickly so not really a need to pre-heat for any length of time. You can time the length of time you would like the leave the heat on.Excellent product - very good value.

This is a great product and helps relieve back pain or for a herniated disc where heat therapy is required.It has 2 controls for each side of the mattress. It easily fits over a mattress and under a bed sheet.

Our house is a bit cooler in the bedroom so I bought it. Comfortable to sleep on, I do not feel the wires when I lay on it. Works good and heats up fast. My husband find it too hot on any setting to I just turn it on and let it preheat than turn it off. i am good on setting 3, 4 I find it too hot. Have been using it for about a month and so far its good. I like the fact that the plug ins are under on the left hand side of the pad so you can't feel them. I run the wires under the mattress and the cords are long enough. But the plug in to the controller a bit short but I made it wok. I have hot glued the controllers on either side of the bed so they don't get into everting. I just wish that the connecting wires to the controller would come to the bottom of the controller not the top because it looks strange when I have them on the wall, it just make it a bit messy. I wish the controllers would have a stick on tape. This is a mattress pad so It does not get moved around and is always on one spot. When I put the controllers on the night table they fall off. Than in the middle of the night I need to look for them hanging off the bed or on the floor. That is the reason I hot glued them on the wall. Other than that it works as expected.
