The opening action of this Hand Ascender was a little different to open compared to my Left handed Petzl. But now that I have used it , I wouldn’t trade it for any other. It’s built and designed very well. Also, I am Enjoying the 2-1 pull it gives me (while using the built-in-pulley) I use it for DRT and SRT uses. Absolutely perfect design!

I like the built-in pulley on this unit, and it feels very well built. I've been using it for deer hunting SRT climbing. However, I'm running this alongside a Mad Rock Lifeguard belay device, and running the slack end up through the pulley on this ascender doesn't work the best--the ascender wants to twist / rotate and the upward anchored end of the climbing rope ends up rubbing up along your ascender hand causing friction, noise, and a less desirable experience. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but haven't found a better way to run these products in tandem.

Works well and is easy to use. A bit noisy for hunting but if you practice using it quietly it should be okay.

Great piece of gear to compliment any set up. Smoother than running a pully or roller carabiner on a traditional hand acender.

Ich habe mit dieser Steigklemme eine Petzl und einen DMM Roller ersetzt. Das ganze ist leichter und vorallem ein Teil weniger das abstürzen könnte.
