Much better than some. Push handle coul be heavier to prevent breakage. Drop the chrome on the removal hook. It was flaking on delivery.

Their stem has dried out and will crack under very little pressure. The plugged-in tool bends easily when inserted. Poor quality, waste of money

0.453 inches -- that's the standard hole size for passenger vehicle valve stems, and when the hook was 0.465" out of the box, that's an issue! An exercise in frustration later and having to partially dismount the first tire so this hook could be squeezed down (to 0.443") and extracted from the hole, the process can continue on the second spare that needed a change. With that out of the way, the second aspect to note is that this is NOT intended for TMPS valve stems; standard valve stems only. If your vehicle has TPMS, this tool will not work; let a tire shop handle it.Modified hook, check. Standard valve stem, check. Now to put it to the test on one of my spares that had a broken valve stem ... and it worked, though with some struggles. First part was pushing the hook into side of the existing valve stem, shoving it aside enough to get the hook fully past the bottom of the stem, then turning it so it can hook into the center of the stem. Next step is to pull the old stem out -- or rather, mangle the heck out of it while it's being extracted as the valve stem base is larger than the hole itself. Once that's done, clean up the area at the hole. Prepare the new valve stem (which the included ones are just standard TR413 stems) by removing the cap, screwing on the insertion tool, putting some silicone-based grease at the wide end, and inserting in into the tube. Line it up, then push. And push. And maybe push some more. In the end, the whole stem gets inserted and can now be pulled back out into place. Once that's done, unscrew the tool from the valve stem and double check that it's seated. If it's all good, pump it up to spec.In all, yes, it works, but it's not without some struggling either. It can save a trip to a tire shop, but if it fails ... well, one would otherwise have gone to one anyway. If it weren't for the hook needing modifying, 5 stars. Since it did, 4 stars. Worked, but modify it first so one won't experience the same issues as I did.

This tire valve change tool kit is a lifesaver! It makes replacing valve stems and cores incredibly quick and easy, saving me both time and hassle. The 7-piece set has everything needed for cars. The tools feel sturdy and well-made, and they work perfectly without damaging the valve stems.

I use these to replace valve stems on small engine equipment. Made easy work to replace the valve stems on my leaking walk-behind brush hog.
