I was having issues with boat saying it was hot. Bought way cheaper senders from 2 Chinese companies for like 5 bucks each same issue. But after all the weeks of checking and double checking I knew it had to be this so I took a shot went with this one and it worked. I will never use another cheap one again.

This was the second delivery of this item. The first sensor caused erratic operation of dash gauge, finally causing the gauge to peg. Thought the gauge had gone bad. This was an upgrade to replace the 20 year old OEM. Finally discovered the sensor was bad, contacted Amazon, and they sent another. An easy installation with a slip-on connector at the thermostat housing. Works as it should...so far with just a brief running of the engine. The 4 star reflects the problem I had. Thermistor works opposite of temperature.

Works great so far on my 5.0 Mpi. Saw an immediate change in the reading of pressure. No more low pressure alarms.

Ordered one last fall and installed it this spring. However, it read apx 40* below actual and it took me a week to determine what was wrong (sensor vs gauge, wiring, engine temp). Amazon warranty replaced it and the new one solved the issue. Reads accurately in comparison to a laser thermometer checking temp at thermostat housing.
