Good quality fitting. Used to reduce 3/4 in. poly sprinkler pipe to 3/8 in. tubing to build a pond aerator.3/4 in. side too loose. I made a sleeve of 3/4 in vinyl tubing over the fitting and heated the end of the pipe in near-boiling water to fit, then secured with a hose clamp. Fine for a low pressure application.

I am not sure why this product was labelled as 5/16†by 1/2†adapter because the larger side is too small.Maybe the factory workers decided to make these things 12mm instead of 1/2†diameter. It is useless.

We just bought an older renovated home and they left the AC condenser line laying on the ground in the crawl space. Super cool. So we had to get creative and I needed this to connect my condenser line to my newly modified bathroom plumbing. I used this and another universal coupler and so far so good!
