I bought some inexpensive speaker stands for my rear channel speakers in a 5.1 surround sound system. The speakers were heavy and near the weight limit of the stands. That made them unstable should someone bump them. I purchased these weights to see if that would make the stands stable. It worked. I have two on each speaker stand and used Velcro tape to keep them in place.

It’s actually 5 1/2 pounds each making it a total of 25 pounds which is a little misleading but it’s fine for the price. It’s pretty good. I’ll probably buy it again so then I will have a total of 25 pounds for real.

Used these to put appliances in a cabinet so no need to run electric. Work perfectly! Great price. Stable and sturdy. I did add a bead of glue so it never pops out. Light and easy to insert.
