Instead of using this as a tear away, I used it as a pantograph with my longarm quilting machine. It has shadow markings for the rows above and below the active stitching rows so it is easy to line them up so that the design nests together properly.

Haven't used this particular design yet but have used other designs in this brand. I use as pantographs and works well.

What a mess this makes. Don't buy it! I pulled the paper off and washed the project to remove all traces of paper abs ashesive. Sadly a small amount of paper remains under the stitch and you need to pick it out from under every stick. I've spent hours trying to remove the paper from under the stitches. I'll never buy thus again.
