Our dog boots arrived quickly. My 12 year old goldendoodle has been wearing them every day for about a month. He has hip dysplasia and has started to drag his back foot occasionally on our walks. His vet strongly suggests we keep up a daily walk of at least one mile if we can so that his muscles have enough strength to support his rear as long as we can. When I noticed him dragging a foot I saw that he was tearing his toenails until they bled. I looked on line for a boot for his back feet and found these with good reviews and a great price. We got them within two days and he has been wearing them ever since. No more bloody toes. The shoes are holding up beautifully and, because I only need boots on back feet, it's like having a spare pair.Boots are very easy to put on as they slide on his back feet and the velcro fasteners (2 straps) go all the way around the top so I can make them as tight or as loose as needed. He has only lost one once and that was because he stepped over a curb and caught his foot stepping across and the boot pulled off. He stumbles, drags and hops into yards and over tree roots when on a wooded trail. Boots stay snug. I bought the largest size (8) because I wanted plenty of room for his toes to spread out. I'm glad I did even though back feet are much smaller than the front because of the ability to tighten the velcro around the top. His little boots look so cute. People stop to ask me about them too. Because he has these, he may enjoy walks a while longer. I'm very glad I picked these. Walks are exciting to dogs and quality of life is important.

I’ve been searching for the perfect little shoe for my new pup. So far this type seems to work best on smaller dog feet. Bonus points for the interior being soft as to not rub on his dewclaws. The soles look like they should hold up for awhile. Not sure how well they will wash but I’m trying to only use these on dry days. We have rubber shoes for rainy days.I have another dog w bigger feet who has worn shoes outside all his life w me. Pro tip: if your pup is new to wearing shoes buy some dog socks & practice inside walking w just the socks on for awhile. Also using socks along w the shoes will stop any rubbing ( blisters ) that might occur for awhile in the beginning as well as helping the shoes to stay on.

I've had these boots for 4 years (!!) for my very high energy lab in Minnesota winters. The boots get a ton of use, and have held up remarkably well! We are going to replace them for next winter, but I can't believe they have lasted this long. Buy these!

I purchased this set, only needing one, to use as a barrier between the ground and my dog’s nails on one of his hind paws. His two middle nails on this specific paw had begun bleeding (both nails were right at the quick) during our usual walks which are composed of both concrete sidewalks and greenbelts. Styptic powder is effective in ceasing bleeding, but only if the dog is stationary after application. However, repeated applications of the powder during a walk when the bleeding began were ineffectual. Thus, the hunt for a different remedy was on. My dog, like most pups, lives for his evening stroll. So not walking was never an option. Thus, I purchased these and a single wrap designed primarily to protect the affected paw during post-surgical mobility. At 125 lbs and his head hitting my upper thigh (I’m 5’10) my dog, a hound, far exceeds his breed’s standard height and weight. After following the sizing guidelines, I ordered an 8, the largest the company offers. The bootie was easy to get on and the Velcro straps allow for quick, effective adjustment so that it is properly fit to the paw. Upon standing, it was immediately clear that the bootie wasn’t long enough in that it didn’t extend up his lower leg which would have ensured that the bootie stayed put during the walk. Testing it around the house, with each step the bootie moved lower and lower on his foot until, relatively quickly, it came off. If the bootie was longer, I’m confident it would have worked perfectly given it didn’t rotate or otherwise slip in one direction or another as he walked around. While they don’t work for my dog, I think they’re a great product for those dogs smaller than mine. I hope the company adds an extended length option so that large breeds, with long legs, could wear these booties without them slipping off step-by-step. They are obviously well-made and offer great design. I’m keeping them for emergency use even though the other option I purchased ultimately demonstrated to be the ideal solution for protecting his paw during walks.

Finally a pair of winter shoes for our peek a poo. We got size small and overall they fit pretty good. He's not all together thrilled about getting them on but they are very good quality.

I want to love them so much because they are SO CUTE. But these made my puppy bleed. I’m not sure if it’s the tension from the strap or what… but I just noticed she was licking her paws and dew-claws after I took them off and I need someone to help me understand if the size we ordered was too big for her and when it was slipping it caused friction… if anyone is ordering please SIZE DOWN so this doesn’t happen to you. When I measured her she was a size 3 but there’s so much space and gap in the shoe so she clearly is a size 2. I’m not sure if the chart is accurate. Just be careful about any friction from the straps if the shoes are too big

When I got the shoes, the shoes on the front paws did not fit my dog, however when I contacted the seller, the sent me a lager pair for free. This is a better fit. Will update the review when I get to use these shoes outside. Customer service is awesome and replies are quick.Update: I have had a chance to use these boots outside on several occasions and I must say, they are very good. So far they have not fallen off and stayed well on my dogs feet.I hope the seller will consider making these boots a little taller, this way they might be more comfortable for the dog. Otherwise I am very happy with this purchase.

Empiezo con que es una pieza de buena calidad de acuerdo al precio, por dentro viene afelpado, yo dirÃa que acalora pero pues los perros no pueden decirnos. Al diseño le falta tener espacio para el talón, asà como nosotros, ya sé que ellos no lo doblan igual, pero para caminar servirÃa mucho, mucho. Ahora, la medida de mi perro no estaba en la lista, su pata midió más grande, pudiera tener un poco que ver, aún asà para que los usen perritos con patitas débiles, deberÃa dar forma en automático, no que la pata haga la forma, ya que el bulto que se le hace en la parte de encima del pie, no le facilita mucho el movimiento inicial. Sà me quedé los zapatos por qué amo perro se le resbalan sus patitas para caminar y pues si las necesita. Otra cosa importante es que el tamaño de el largo del tobillo hacia arriba se me hace muy corto, no se le salen porque sus patas sÃ. Muy anchas, pero eso le ayudarÃa a hacer la forma del talón.

My chocolate lab never wears boots but needs one for an extended time for protection because of surgery on her foot pad . The large size fits perfectly , easy to get on and stays on ! The boot is well made and the sole flexible However not waterproof and only in mildly rain conditions water resistant . Not sure about warmth as hoping by winter we are done with all this .
