Um - they’re springs, and they - ah - spring nicely. Not sure but I believe they are intended for a small trampoline but I used them for brake and clutch springs on an antique tractor and they work well for that. By the way were $15 a piece on a tractor supply site so quite the savings. Being stainless steel they should last indefinitely. I had to trim the loop to make hook style ends and had to use a cut off wheel because they are too hard to cut with side cut pliers.
