Now, not everyone realizes this, but every last company that produces something with a motor in it, also has a crack team of engineers making up a big part of their engineering department, all making high 6 figure salaries or more, that have dedicated their entire career...nay, their entire existence, even staying awake nights, losing sleep and forsaking dinners with family on holidays in their quest to make drain plugs as close to total inaccessibility as mortally possible by locating the oil drain plug over some part of the structure of the automobile, generator, mower, or tractor, rather than in an open spot that is easy to reach or that, God forbid, would drain said oil directly into the container set on the ground to catch it. Perish that thought... While not a perfect solution, these flexible funnels help to thwart those hard-working engineer's lifelong efforts and make your clean up a little easier. These are especially handy on my generators, my riding mower and my vintage '73 Ford F 250 truck, all of which had engineering designs for their oil drains concocted by diligent engineers with no thought or care given to their own selfless personal struggles, after their years of high dollar education at our finest universities-- that concluded that the absolutely PERFECT location for the oil drain is as far back as possible and directly above a frame crossmember. You too can help foil, defeat and frustrate their efforts and turn their life's work to naught with the simple purchase of a couple of these flexible funnels, which allow you to bend, fold and form them so that you can actually direct the draining oil into.... wait for it... a drain pan. They feel somewhat thin, and could maybe be a bit thicker/sturdier, however that would negate some of their flexibility, so they are probably designed correctly by the funnel company's team of engineers, since they work. Save yourself some rags and get a flexible funnel before your next oil change is due. You shop floor will thank you for it. Heck, it could potentially save your life by keeping you from stepping in spilled oil and tracking it into the house.... so there's that too.

I own a genuine "Pig" funnel, and use it all the time. Worth it's weight in gold. These are NOT. Genuine Pig funnel is a flexible metal sheet covered in thick rubber; no seams. These are either thin cardboard or foil covered in thin plastic/vinyl with a seam all the way around. They not as flexible, don't hold their shape well, and will no doubt split and fail in just a few uses. Should've realized at their price point. Returned immediately.

This is a great product. I originally got these to help with oil changes but our cars have oil filters that are too close to the front subframe making it almost impossible to use these. I still use them for other fluid change purposes and I highly recommend because these will work for others.

It doesn't mold like I'd hoped it would. It will work just not as I like.

This product has good flexibility, but not perfect. Sometimes doesn't hold the exact shape you want. Given the price this is not a real issue. Easy to clean.

Over the years, I've found the 1) if you want your small engine (mower, snowblower) to last and serve you when you need it, you need to maintain it. And oil changes are a big part of that. And 2), anything that makes oil changes easier is likely to make you do it more often and this flexible oil funnel relieves you of having to tip two wheels off the ground and hoping that it doesn't slide away from you in mid-oil-change.In other words, it makes changing the oil easier and you'll be more likely to do it.

These funnels are not like the name brand ones. There is not a sheet of malleable metal across the entire surface of these. The outside is vinyl that is seamed like a 3 ring binder. I could not get them to hold a shape for any length of time. I would not recommend them.

This funnel is nice and flexible, allowing you to drain oil from inverter generator and other enclosed motors easily. Didn’t even leave any inside case. Also easy to clean afterwards, little brake clean then a quick wipe with a rag and back into the tool box
