I bought these mainly for my wife who would rather not yank on that cord a dozen times, but I was delighted in how well it works! I saw some others' comments about the bit being stripped, but if you lock it on to the drill tightly and then insert fully, you should be fine! Also, remove quickly once the implement starts so that the reverse motion doesnt' chew up your bit. Works fine!

Product is exactly as advertised and works great. Hooked into my power drill and then my Craftsman leaf blower, pulled the trigger and let it do its thing. A+ product from an A+seller who shipped the item fast and arrived early...UPDATE.....I changed my mind on this product... the adapter stripped out after only 2 uses rendering the adapter useless

Bought this because the pull start was failing and I didn't want to fix it. Also, I wanted the electric start for a while but didn't want to spend 90 bucks for the Troy Bilt corded starter. When I received the tool, I sprayed silicon lubricant on the bearing area at the base of the extension that plugs into the trimmer starter area. I let it soak for about 20 minutes. Tried using my DeWalt cordless drill to start it but not enough rpm's to fire it up so I used my corded drill. Worked like a charm. I have used it about 20 times and it worked every time. My advice....Lube it before use and make sure the tool is seated completely in the trimmer starter insert area before triggering the drill. I assume the bit would strip eventually if the bit wasn't firmly and completely inserted and slight pressure applied with the drill, For the money I think it's a great product.

It worked good the first few times I used it and then it seized up and broke. It should be oiled before it ships. I liked the way it worked and reordered a new one and oiled it myself before using. Works great and was able to return broken item easily. Received new one next day. All good.

Chucked this in my drill, set the choke at half, 3 pumps and fired. Started right up. Love it.

This product is identical to numerous others, each with different brand name and price. I had read many reviews, and all seemed to suffer same problem, so I decided to take a chance and simply bought the lowest price since all were same item. Sure enough, it was just as worthless as most others said it was.I should state that it did work long enough to start the engine ONCE. That was the end.The end that goes into the socket on the engine must be made of some sort of pot metal. I haven't bothered checking with a magnet, but it surely isn't steel to be so soft. After a single use, the end was completely smooth and round, leaving it utterly useless. If you consider buying one of there things (which you should NOT do), understand that this is in the class of tool with plastic screwdrivers and rubber wrenches. It is almost laughable, and might be a good gag gift for someone. But, I'd recommend just taking a hard pass on this JUNK.

I used Black Decker 20v drill. This drill maximum 500 RPM. Maybe it too slow for 4 Cycles string trimmer. Pull to start is fine
