I like the way it fits in my hand it's more balanced than you would expect. It fits down into the corners so you can get more slag off before wire brushing it. Don't know about long-term durability yet I guess we will see. But I think it will last awhile.

Very standard but not too cheaply made. They are a great value and should do the job just fine.

The head of this chipping hammer broke off the handle in less than a week. Very weak wood in the handle. Don't waste your money on this one.

My favorite part is when the flimsy handle breaks and you weld a steel round stock into it. Holds its edge and point well. Definitely hand crafted work. Maybe made from leaf springs and polished?

Very cheap chipping hammer. The tip won't stay sharp for long, and you'll be grinding it a lot. But i've had more expensive chipping hammers with the same story. Eventually they all end up getting ground to a nub.

Needed a real chipping hammer, as the screwdriver method was getting old. Selected based in the price point, and was a bit disappointed with the quality of the product. While the business end is sturdy enough for chipping the slag, the fit up with handle is not as I would have expected. Loose fit, excess space between the head and handle, and the expanders to wedge the head to handle are a couple of simple staples that don't expand the handle enough to do any good. But...and the saving grace is, I am not a daily welder, and for the hobbyist amount I will be using this tool, it is more than adequate. You get what you pay for.

It looked okay in the photo but to use in practice it’s not that good the edges are blunt
