I ordered a similar product 6 yrs ago and it died a sad watery death when I dropped it into the dogs water bowl. It worked very well. I looked long and hard for this replacement because I didn't want one that had a sole focus on barking issues.This one works exactly as advertised. It has a flashlight mode training mode and deturant mode for use against aggressive or unleashed animals that you do not want to interact with you dog.I have 3 stubborn pups that I have struggled with the basic come command. They know it they just don't. I call, I clap my hands to get their attention the buggers just ignore me half the time.I beeped the trainer mode once to get their attention then beeped it twice and gave the command. They instantly got up and came to me. What a dream.

I love this. My dad works in the garden a lot when I am not there. He is 85. The German shepherd next door always growls and hits against the fence like it is trying to get to him and his dog.Tried everything. Talking to neighbors did not help. Used this. Amazing. You push the button aiming toward the fence and the dog slinks off and does not come back to the fence. If it does just repeat. We have not had any trouble with the dog growling or hitting the fence. Since the first week.Also. Added plus. Between us we have 3 little dogs ( under 10 lbs). They do not even notice or.Very impressed with this

Dogs at three ft don't even respond.Barking ,snapping ,,rushing fence,,,,,,,if hold button down couple of pit bulls will turn walk away,but rots,and cur,,,,,just keep up! Had hoped would stop,b/4 had to go to law or somebody hurt or killed!

This device does what it is advertised to do but nothing more. If only a sound cue is enough for your dog-training or discipline purposes then the device is OK. If you need a vibrate function or more then the ultrasonic dog chaser is not effective. Two drawbacks: when near other dogs the sound can have an effect on nearby dogs and the device is hit-or-miss beyond about 100 meters.
