I recently bought an Ego trimmer after moving to a house with a severely sloped backyard. This harness takes the stress off my lower back and makes a great pivot point for swinging the trimmer side to side. The harness fits me well too, at 6'1" and 245 pounds. It is a bit hard to set up initially, but now that I have it where I need it, I have no complaints.

I needed an extra harness for a couple Stihl 240’s, so I bought this because the Husqvarna harness (cost: $89) was no longer available from amazon.On to the review: If you asked a ten year old to make a cheap replacement for the Husqvarna harness, they’d do a better job. Seriously. Don’t buy this! Compared to the Husqvarna harness that cost $10 more, this has an Extremely thin plastic back plate(not adjustable), horrible stitching on ultra thin straps, with zero thought on ergonomics, or even human anatomy! Nothing about the harness works properly, and it just made me angry while using it.Do not buy!

My older factory harness was worn out and I thought I’d give this one a try. I have used it on a high end brush cutter and a top brand string trimmer both gas powered. I have used this harness 6 hours or so and it really works! Totally adjustable and a back saver for sure. Might be a bit pricey but worth every penny! Don’t be afraid to try this, you will never regret it.

I'm using this harness with an electric trimmer that's a little heavier than the gas trimmer it replaces . So far it's very comfortable and won't hurt an old guy's aching back. No printed assembly instructions came with it, but it's not hard to figure out. One cavil: the plastic thigh protector should be detachable. It's not needed with an electric motor/battery pack.

This really saved my shoulders while using our heavy gas fueled trimmer. I am really pleased with this harness.
