DEFECTIVE DO NOT BUY.right out of the box it didn’t work, the output gain knob was a shoddy connection. Clearly no testing was done in the factory. It intermittently worked depending on the exact position of the gain knob.I was in a rush to use it so I tapped down the knob in place, hoping it would retain a connection.It worked this way for a month or so, but then the connection got shoddy again.This time, the repeated extremely loud transients blew my amplifier speaker and I now have to replace it for twice the price of this stupid pedal.Kicking myself for not just returning this lousy item right away…

I took a gamble on this device not having used a re-amp box with an audio interface's headphones out jack. The price tag was right for my budget and I couldn't be happier that I gave it a try. This box is so easy to connect to my Behringer UMC404HD interface at my desk, and I don't have to swap out the outputs the way I would if I used a traditional re-amp box. The only thing that was a challenge was getting the gain staging levels from the interface through the re-amp box back into the interface for recording. Since this uses the headphone jack, I am able to hear both the source track and the re-amped track in my DAW without a feedback loop occurring, which is so helpful in getting that gain staging situation handled. After finding good output and input levels that weren't too hot or clipping, I was able to model some pedals quickly and reliably. After years of struggling with levels with a traditional re-amp box, I am now up and running and ready to re-amp whenever I need to with minimal cable switching. This box is a true gift for my needs and kudos to the design team for delivering a solid, functional product. While probably subjective to my environment, I can typically set the headphone level at about noon, turn on the ground lift on the re-amp box and set the level knob on the unit to about 2:00...then it's just a matter of finding a good input level on the audio interface for the re-amped signal coming in. Seriously happy and impressed with this box.
