I love these shades. They functional, pretty, and easy to hang. They are semi transparent...light shows through, but allow privacy. I've bought them for 2 rooms now. This color goes with everything.

I had to return this specific size because it didn’t quite fit, but overall, these blinds are great. The whitewash finish isn’t entirely uniform, but that actually adds to their rustic charm, giving our living room a nice bit of texture. They provide a warm, natural look that works well with our decor. The only downside is that they don’t retract evenly—no matter how carefully we pull them up, they always seem a bit lopsided. It’s not a dealbreaker since we mostly keep them down, but it’s something to keep in mind if you plan to raise and lower them frequently.

I have ordered this exact brand of shades in the past and loved them. However, these shades are white and are basically transparent from the outside at night. The darker colors are not like that only allowing minimal light through. Other than that these are great quality and easy to install. I ordered the “used like-new returns†as always if the size and color preferred are available and each occurrence delivers an extremely pleasing product. The required hardware is always included along with the instructions for mounting. I have never had to sacrifice quality when opting for the discounted “ used/like-new†blinds. These bamboo blinds function and look best when installed on the inside of your window casing otherwise referred to as “inside mountâ€. Be sure to measure before ordering. I recommend ordering a half size smaller than the width of your window. These are cordless; place your hand on the very bottom and push up to raise and gently pull on the very bottom to lower. The darker colors do allow minimal light through also. At night a silhouette can be seen from the outside looking in when the light in that room is on. The mounting hardware has to be installed on the right and left side of the top inside the window casing for optimal functionality. It’s possible I guess for other placement and positioning of the mounting hardware but I don’t recommend it.

Overall impression: I bought 7 of these blinds, all the same size 39x64. I am very happy with the looks of them. But if you are a picky person, here are a few details that may sway your decision. If you are a super picky ocd perfectionist, then these blinds are probably not for you.1. The color is pretty, a soft white. They are a natural product so the reeds are different sizes allowing plenty of light in.2. The headers/flaps are different lengths but I am going to turn up one hem by gluing it to make it match—easily resolved. Only one out of the seven is really long. The rest vary by a 1/4†or so. Again, natural product so not perfect.3. One blind is sort of droopy one side. I’m just going to switch placement with another one. They all work nicely pulling and pushing gently up or down. You do have to reach under to grab the bar but once you do it a few times, you get how they work.4. Installation was mostly a one person job. He just needed an extra hand holding up the blind/flap to screw the wing nuts on. I warned him about the reviews of the screws stripping/shearing and he predrilled holes in a few spots. The blinds were surprisingly heavy.5. One blind had some ripped stitches (see photo) on the valance. But it sort of blends in but I may swap positions in this one too.6. Looking at the blinds from outside in, you can definitely see through them. These are NOT privacy/black out blinds. More like a heavily patterned sheer.7. A few of the blinds have a gap at the top where you can see the mounting wood piece (see photo). Five out of seven window mounts are at eye level. I plan to use a white paint marker and blend it in—easily resolved.I wish these came in a larger size so my picture window would match the rest of the house. I had to order from another company for a 75†blind.Other than that, I really do like these blinds. They are a natural product so there are imperfections but they are easily fixed. I would buy them again.Three years later December 31,2023:The cord shredded on one of the blinds causing it to hang crookedly. Tried to restring it but no luck. Going to have to reorder another blind. Fingers crossed it’s a good match!

I ordered these blinds for my new home office and wow!They are perfect. I did order 2" to small as it was the only size left and I wanted them so badly. I do have curtains surrounding the windows as well though so you can't even tell they aren't quite wide enough. Gently filters light through while offering privacy and tge cordless option works like a dream. They were very simple to install as well and took no time at all. 10/10 would buy again!

covered in what looks like dust or mould or both. smells mouldy. Really nasty experience to open a box expecting beautiful new blinds and to get this. Surely it is second hand.

I absolutely love these blinds - worth the plurge!I was hoping to fit them within the window frame, but the previous owners put a quarter round trim in there so it wouldn't fit the depth of the window box. Either way, installation took about 15 minutes!They provide a nice amount of light diffusion without making the room feel dark or closed off. I'm impressed too by the mechanics to open & close them - you just pull down and they hold in place until you push them back up!I like not having a cord pull - makes these feel very light and minimal. 10/10 score.
