Eesy to Use for Radiator Coolant Vacuum Refill
After connecting all the useful part, close the line to the new coolant bottle, and open the line to vacuum pump to vacuumize the cooling system first. Then open the line to the new fluid bottle, and close the line to vacuum pump to suck the new coolant to the cooling system.

Note
1.Please be careful when opening the radiator to avoid overheating coolant spraying out under pressure
2.Please release the pressure before the removal of the pump or the adapter
3.After pressure testing or repair, check whether coolant stays at correct level and has frost protection

Cooling System Leakage Test
1.Ensure the car's radiator is in a cold state before opening the radiator cap, choose a suitable radiator test adapter according to vehicle model and detailed instruction
2.Use the adapter to replace the radiator cap then tighten on the port of the water tank and check whether the rubber ring is in full conformity. Connect the quick coupler of hand pump with the radiator test adapter.
3.Press on the manual pump on the pressure gauge detector till the gauge pointer stays between 10~15psi. Wait to observe the pointer change.
(1)If the pointer stays still for several minutes, it means there's no leakage and can be used normally.
(2)If it drops, it means there exists leakage. Then check all interior pipelines for leak location and take maintenance at where the leak is. Inspect the condition of rubber ring and test another time to ensure the cooling system can work normally. Test finished. Finally, press the air release valve to exhaust and return the pressure pointer to zero.
Radiator Cap Leakage Test
1.Remove the original radiator cap.
2.Choose the appropriate radiator cap test adapter and connector, and connect it to the radiator cap.
3.Press the test pump for few times and watch the pressure gauge. The pressure will fall if the cap is defective.

As I was researching this product I read some of the negative reviews. I purchased the product anyway. The product I received appears to be good quality. I used it on my 2010 Chevy Impala and it worked great. There were no leaks in the system. The only issue I have with the product is they need to give better directions on how to use the product. Other than the issue with the directions I really like the product and the price was really good.

Some minor problems. I imagine all these lower priced kits have plastic where they can. This will be okay for my farm needs, but someone who might use the refill feature a lot might want better. Plenty good for occasional use, maybe not every day. Good value for all you get. Five ***** stars for that. Description: Not a metal manifold or air shutoff block the plastic body can wear or crack if over tightened. There are brass ball valves and brass fittings with a plastic cover that matches the plastic manifold and venturi /air button tee assembly screwed into them. The venturi is a brass fitting screwed into a plastic coupling. The ungainly vacuum refill assembly has plastic junctions which can loosen and after continual movement may become too worn (I noticed when I picked it up it was loose, and I investigated what/how it was made of. Looking at the more expensive Astro Tawain kit, it looks to have a plastic manifold too,There are 5 caps that have a loose fitting flat washer to seal the radiator. When it first arrived, I tested some radiator caps. I took all the kit pieces I used into the sink to rinse them off and when I went to put them back in the box, one washer was missing... I panicked. Somewhere at the radiators, engine compartment, shop, grass, house, sink or on the gravel driveway was the missing washer. I found it stuck to one of the radiator cap adaptors. These loose washers could really ruin your day and they should send spares until they figure a way for them to be more secure. I guess I could fabricobble a washer from an old inner tube.The instruction sheet is 4 pages printed onto one (small print and thumbnail size photos) with a very short list of cap use chart. I can't find a YSTool website to download a PDF to print better, though I noticed the Amazon listing has more information than the instruction sheet.The black caps with a painted color stripe are marked 7, some high temp "other". The plastic caps and their locations are numbered. The 2 radiator adaptors are tougher PA66 plastic. I whish those were metal like the kit I borrowed from a auto parts store. And looks like you are only going to test old style metal caps directly with this kit.The metal caps are steel with some aluminum backing washers/spacers for the rubber seals and washers.This kit has the big chunk of machined aluminum universal radiator neck tube adaptor and an additional metal test cap for 20 dollars more.

I just received it today and used both the vacuum and pressure tester on one car. The vacuum tester worker very well with my small, 8 gallon , 3cuft@90psi compressor. It does not need a large volume of air to pull a vacuum. The pressure tester requires a bit of effort but it works well. The list of caps and the cars they go with is not very complete. My 2013 Ford Fusion required a cap that was listed as a Mazda cap. Thus you have to eyeball a lot of caps in order to find the one that works for the vehicle being tested. This is no big deal and the cap once found works very well and did not leak.

Love the product. Instructions at6e not the most detailed, but once you figured it out, will never go without it when draining and refilling coolant.

I’ve never owned one of these before but saw it in use on a repair video recently and thought: I could use that! I shopped around on Amazon, and felt this one had the best value for a good price.I was not disappointed!! The tool worked very well, once I figured out how to use it. The instructions were so poorly written, I couldn’t figure out what they meant. But the pictures were helpful, and it’s how I finally figured out what to do.Ultimately, I’m very satisfied, and I recommend this tool!
