A truck with extended mirrors hit our truck and shattered our mirror. This was the second time it happened. The first time, we replaced the mirror with one from the dealership to the tune of almost $400! this time, we searched Amazon and found this one for $20! The only difference is it does not have an auto dimming feature, which is not really needed. It was an easy install and so good we bought an extra just in case. Highly recommend!!!

I purchased these to replace the electro chromatic mirrors as they were turning brown and at a fraction of the cost I can do without the dimming. The mirrors are pretty good quality, the driver side shows an ever so slight distortion, passenger side is fine. While the bottom clips fit right in the motor mount, the top clips are difficult to clip in, takes a lot of pressure and was afraid they were going to break. The mirrors however once in are fine and I haven’t noticed any vibration in them while driving.

I bought two if these. First one was OK, but had quite a distorted reflection - like a circus funhouse mirror. First trip through a car wash, the mirror blew-out during the drying cycle. I figured maybe I hadn't snapped it in properly at the top mounts. Then I ordered a second one & all was good - reflection image was much better, but still a little distorted - very usable. THEN, about a month later & closed my door & the mirror fell out & was hanging by the wire. Upon inspection, one of the top mounting tabs molded into the black mirror backer had broken right off. Next mirror I'm ordering will be from my Dodge dealer - gotta go OE on these. Chi-Na can't get these ones right.

The mirror looks good and you really can't tell the difference from the OEM once it's installed (there is a weight difference and thickness). There is a missing wire connection on the back of the mirror though (OEM has 3, this has 2). It has to do with the heat function, but I have not been able to test it yet to see if it works.

This mirror is the right size and it fit correctly. However, it almost hurts your eyes to look in the mirror. Something is slightly wrong with the mirror and things are hard to come into focus when you were looking in the mirror I don’t know if I got it a bad one or if they are all like this. It almost makes you feel cross eyed when you are looking at it
