Recently replaced front brake pads on my 2001 Porsche 911. The brake compression tool broke the first time I used it and bent. This is a cheaply made product. Buy at own risk. Luckily a friend came over and brought his so I could finish the job.

This tool is an enormous upgrade to the threaded one I used before. It makes resetting the caliper so much easier and saves a heap of time. The quality is good. It's not high end but it also comes for significantly less than the tool truck would charge. I am not a professional mechanic. I only take care of my own car with occasionally helping out a friend. So for me this does the job. With a little bit of care this should last for years. Five stars from me. I hope this helps to make a decision.

Broke on the very first job the slanted arm makes it so that the caliper won’t be completely flush, broke it on a Sienna, a minivan broke this garbage would not recommend

Anyone who has ever done a brake job knows pushing in the caliper pistons is annoying. This tool makes it super easy and requires little effort. A must have for the DIYer.
