Remarkably bad finish, I've honestly never seen an offcenter screw slot like this before. Non hardened tips, crunchy opening, I'm just gonna return.

The hole in the pencil holder is not straight so the pencil is not at all parallel to the leg. The set screw was stripped and would not stay in place, just falls out. Returned.

Compass seems sturdy and put together okay. The pivot point kind of grinds when it opens all the way. The pivot doesn't look easily adjustable so I'd rather it be overly tight than have slop. The real kicker was the little brass scribe/pencil holder on mine it was drilled very crooked so it's kind of useless. Going to see if they can send me a replacement of that part or just return the tool. If not I'll probably just fabricate my own from a small steel tube and weld it on. But for the price it should be good to go out of the box.

What a chunk of metal. Not sure what it is good for? We have advanced a little. I hope your cutting tools are made and designed better!
