This Rancho steering damper was in addition to Rancho shocks on a 2015 Jeep JKU with 55,000 miles. What a positive difference in stability and steering ! Easy to install and would highly recommend !

Installation was a bit of a fight. I replaced a Krawler part with this one. The mounting stud on the axle was bigger than standard. Had to change it back to a 1/2" stud from a 5/8 stud before it would fit.

I installed this on my 2013 jeep wrangler with 35x12.5x20 tires and a 4 inch suspension lift. Very easy to install and made a great difference in the handling of the jeep. I would recommend getting them if you are having trouble with the dreaded suspension wobbel.

It wasn't as easy to install as I expected, but as I was replacing the drag link too, it seemed like the opportune time.I'm disappointed with the accordian cover because it drags on other steering components and is getting a tear in it. At some point I'll just cut it off, I suppose. My understanding is that it's just for decoration anyway.

This works as well or better than stock at a reasonable price. A steering stabilizer is not a cure all… it’s there to keep the steering wheel from getting yanked out of your hands off road. This one looks good fits well and works fine.

So far it is working well. It was easy to install and a decent price. I have only had it on 2 weeks but no issues so far and it along with other parta fixes the Death Wobble. I would have liked it to have a bit more resistance but it is far better than the stock unit at this point.... Michael M

Después de instalar un kit de suspensión de 2" (Marca Rancho) en mi Jeep Sahara JK note que requerÃa sustituir mi amortiguador de dirección de fabrica ya que en un par de ocasiones sentà el tan temido bamboleo. Encontré este amortiguador, en cuanto me llego lo instale y woow super cambio el manejo y se elimino el bamboleo.

Bolted onto a 2012 JK in 5 minutes, the old one had zero resistance. This was to help with the ruts and potholes pulling the steering around. It also tightened up the centre 'dead spot'. This will not fix death wobble, it will not fix worn ball joints and trackbars, it will not improve cornering, it will not make your Jeep faster. Sprayed on a few coats of clear before installing as many reviews noted the thin paint.
