I am a certified mechanic and I installed this kit myself. To start, the stator itself didn’t fit quite well, it required some adjustment. The terminals inside the connectors were bent and after all was said and done, it doesn’t charge whatsoever. Rechecked everything just to be sure.

I bought this for my 06 gsxr750 when my old stator burned up and the connectors between the rectifier and stator also melted. Installation is easy if you have good patience and can follow a YouTube video there are no problems with fitment however I used a rubber gasket instead of the one the came with the product. After 2 months of riding the connection between the stator and rectifier melted again however I understand it is a common thing to happen on these bikes in general. After researching the gsxr forums they told me to solder wires together for a strong direct connection. After that the performance has been perfect and I didn’t even need to buy another!

Purchased this stator and rectifier for my 2007 gsxr 750 and installed it same day it arrived , everything was fine til now the plug that connects the stator n Rec together is now burning . It’s only been 1 month exactly
