Simple as that. It doesn’t work. Zero stars if possible. Multiple Motorola batteries will not charge on this station. (All the applicable ones it is supposed to charge.) Take your 40$ and burn it; your radio still won’t be charged. Also, the charging cable which was sent with the charging station doesn’t connect. Buyer beware.

Charger charges Impres and Impres 2 batteries nearly as fast as large Motorola docking station with APX800 radio. Compatibly issue possible with Impres 2 batteries. With Impres 2 batteries, initial dozen or so charges from approx 20% will only reach capacity of 80-85% according to portable. After several charges, battery will max out at 90-95% capacity. Issue not observed with older Impres batteries. Still a great alternative to much more expensive oem charger. Will charge with batter attached or detached from radio.

The red light never goes out and batteries never get full charge. Battery dies before shift is over. I left the battery on for three days and it doesn’t help.Not up to standard.

Bought one of these chargers recently to prevent having to share a charger at work and my batteries going missing for my Motorola radio.Things to know about this charger!- if you have “smart†chargers at work, and a compatible radio. This charger/battery set up will work, but if you are someone who wants the battery life displayed. You will likely lose that function. I tested this product with one of my batteries, but left my other one to only be charger on the smart charger. The battery that has been charged by this charger, no longer provides a battery life percentage when I go to view it. The other battery, continues to charge.- this product is likely to limit the life of your battery. For me, this was worth the risk. Batteries left on the charger at work would frequently go missing. The smart charger for these batteries/radios, works by draining the battery before fully charging it. This charger in my experience, just charges the battery from its current percentage and goes green when it’s complete.Overall, I’ve had no issues with this charger that I didn’t already expect. One of the smart chargers can be extremely expensive, so this one provides some pretty decent bang for its buck.
