I only used it twice so far, once to help shorten a sleeve and the second time to close a tear on my pants around the knee area. It is battery operated, and not that fast I had to use the wheel on the side to move the needle off so I can remove or add fabrick. The first couple of stitches, I used the wheel then also need to keep the fabrik on a tight pull, else it doesn't feed through like modern sewing machines.

It can be locked so thereΓ’β¬β’s no chance of you hurting yourself while carrying it in a bag. It comes with a manual which makes it easy to understand to use it. "From my personal experience it will only become simple to operate after I get used to it, which isnΓ’β¬β’t my case yet, because I still follow the instructions every time that I use my mini sewing machine. However, I can confirm that it is quite versatile because I have been using mine to fix little holes and sewing threads that are coming off my clothes.But it is as far as I go, I use my handheld sewing machine solely to do little repairs, I havenΓ’β¬β’t been using it every day, and I definitely donΓ’β¬β’t go out of my way to buy pieces of fabrics and start making my own clothes at all, not even in my dreams.Now one thing I must admit, this mini sewing machine has a good quality, it is lightweight, quite comfortable to hold, and convenient since I donΓ’β¬β’t need to get out of my house to do some simple fixing from time to time. "I find this thing really handy to keep around the house, but it's even better for traveling, especially if you have as many wardrobe malfunctions as I do or as my kids do this. could also be quite the little lifesaver if you are camping and you get a hole in your tent or if you're going to a special event like an anniversary dinner or a wedding and someone's hem comes loose as the very worst time or they pop a seam.I mean, the uses for this thing are actually pretty much endless when it comes to not only mending things, but you can create things as well. I whipped up a pillowcase from some extra fabric I had lying around in just a manner of minutes because it's quite easy and fast to do a simple stitch like that. I also made a bandana for one of my nephews plushy dolls out of an old T shirt that he had laying around."
