We own a vacation home in the mountains and are always in need of a good pair of gloves for the outdoors, handling wood is a task that requires some great durable gloves. These gloves are a great quality of ‘cowhide’ leather and seem very durable and thick. I ordered a xlarge for my husband. I might go back and order a smaller size for myself. My husband does a lot of chopping/sawing and handling wood on our property, so these are ideal for him. They are comfortable, sturdy and soft. At this time I am unable to confirm the water-resistant leather as stated in the description, but if it does not meet this claim I will update the review accordingly.Overall we are very satisfied with the product, but after continue use if it does not continue to warrant the rating I am giving the product I will update the review with information and pictures. *I am having difficulty loading pics, will update review with pics when issue is resolved.

I ordered these Intra-FIT Tactical Gloves for my boyfriend because the Product Page said they were, "crafted from premium cowhide leather, ensuring durability and longevity." He has plenty of latex and nitrile-coated gloves and needed some heavy-duty ones. When he tried them on, he immediately noticed that the fingers are too long in the XL size, and there's too much "flap" at the tips of the fingers. The extra leather flap that covers the bottom of the fingers is ridiculous (see photo), as there is no point to needing it. He might just use a sharp pair of scissors to carefully cut it off. The wrist opening is also too floppy. For $27, there are better-fitting leather gloves. The only good thing about this pair is that they will protect your hands in a pinch, but they are not comfortable to wear long-term.

I wouldn’t necessarily call these “tactical†but they are well built with nice supple leather. They have rough side out reinforcement through the palm and around the top of the first knuckle. I did not test waterproofness, I live in a dry climate so that is not super important to me. They fit well, XL is actually XL. If you need super heavy duty, these are not it, but for a good all around work glove that will protect you and stand up reasonably well, these should do a good job for you.

The extra Palm Flap has not been and issue for me yet. In fact, using a Rake or How that extra palm flap seems to work as it was designed to. So, for the Price, Protection, and FEEL through the gloves I'm glad to have them.

These fit XL as described but are just average quality for basic utility work (some stitching issues) which makes them a bit overpriced for that. Perhaps these are very good for rope climbing but I don’t use them for that purpose.

I ordered the Extra Large, because that is the right size for me. Good decision: the gloves fit well. But the fingers are just a wee bit too long. Had I ordered the Large, it’s unlikely the gloves would have fit my hand, though the fingers might have been right. Sometimes you just can win. These are nice gloves. They feel good on my skin and are easy to pull on and off, which is a compliment because I am disabled my left hand is something of a mess. I don’t subject my gloves to hard wear, so considering the quality of the materials and stitching, these might last for quite a while. Whatever, it seems like they will meet my immediate needs and I’m fine with that.Jerry

My husband is 6'4" with big hands and the XL fit him great.He was able to put them on and take them off easily. He is a bit skeptical about the flap of leather around the base of the fingers. It seems like it would get in the way. It is a really inexpensive way for them to say there is a double layer of material there. If it does get in the way it would be easy to remove without destroying the functionality of the gloves. But so far it seems fine.My husband has worn a lot of gloves over the years and does a lot of work that requires gloves. So if these don't hold up I will definitely update my review. But so far they seem to be good quality. Soft, supple, and good material. Five stars.
