I wish I didn't have to buy all the different standoffs. I use the small and medium and the nuts. Work great for all my pi and Arduino projects.

Sometimes the standoffs that come with Pi parts and kits are just no enough. Or if you are mixing different kits and need more space, having these available can help to finish a project quickly.The quality is fine, but there isn't much that can go wrong with low stress metal components.

I've purchased aluminum standoffs that snapped off with only minimal torque. These seem much better quality and IMO with a little thread lock will not loosen with thermal cycling or vibration.
