Needed a small chain/binder and these fit the bill just fine. I am curious about how short the links are on the chain, but I've never had a 1/4" chain before so they may all be like this. They just seem to be really short. Not a problem, as the binder grabs it just fine, they just look like they should be elongated a bit more. I'm not dinging any stars but if you have particular needs and this concerns you... you have been informed.

Binders don't work well,tries and turn with the chain and are hard to work with,if I didn't throw the box away I would send them back,and I may just find another box, I really want my money back

I was really surprised at how good the quality was for the price. I expected it to be just ok but when it arrived it was great. We use it to haul heavy equipment and has worked flawless.

Ratchet mechanism is smooth and easy to operate. Handle is marked 5/16-â…œ on one side and WLL 5400lbs MBS19000lbsDims:Handle: 15†long, tapers â… thisk to 1 ½ “ ratchet ranges from 10.5†to 16†safe working range. Eyelids have 4 ¾†long threading. Hook and link adds 5†to each side.Chain:Looks and feels nice. Hooks are marked forged and the links look forged. Pins seem well sized. These are some very decent ratchet load binders. The ratchting action is smooth, and they have a thick baked on factory finish. We should get many years of use out of these well made load binders.I highly recommend these ratchet load binders.
