I have only ever used monocolor strings on my instruments, so these add a bit of color. I think that will take a bit of getting used to, because it looks a little odd to me. The gauges and colors on this set are:1st-.024 Yellow2nd-.032 Red3rd-.034 Blue4th-.028 GreenThis appears to be lighter than the set I had on previously so it will take a while to get used to them, but it seems to sound okay so far.

These strings look cute on the uke. My son restrung it with no problem. He can’t get the instrument to hold a tune, which is an issue we were having with the previous strings, so it may be the ukulele. He did read that vinyl strings need to sit on the instrument for a week or two in order to adjust their tension, so hopefully it will be able to hold a tune after a while. This seems to be a pretty good price for four sets of colored vinyl strings.
