One of the biggest issues with these types of things made overseas is the tolerances are usually loose. In this case the set screws fit tightly with my hex wrench. So you are less likely to strip them out. This was also dimensionally correct.

This item used to priced for set of 2 which was in line with the other aluminum couplings from this manufacturer. This is now more than a larger size of same material.
